This Iconic Project has and will continue to create its own legacy in Australian history.\nPosition Purpose\nThe Workshop Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all workshop maintenance activities for mobile plant and supporting equipment. This role ensures safe, efficient, and compliant workshop operations while leading a team of maintenance personnel. The Supervisor drives continuous improvement in maintenance standards, operational readiness, workforce capability, and safety culture.\nKey Responsibilities\nMaintain a safe system of work by promoting, demonstrating, and enforcing safe work practices for all workshop tasks.\nMonitor and improve maintenance processes to meet operational demands.\nPrioritise equipment and personnel to maximise efficiency and machine availability.\nAssist engineers with weekly planning and scheduling of maintenance activities.\nConduct periodic site visits to monitor equipment performance and address operator concerns.\nSupport maintenance strategy development and continuous improvement initiatives.\nProvide technical guidance and coaching to workshop personnel.\nOversee contractor activities ensuring compliance with safety and scope requirements.\nManage parts usage and procurement recommendations.\nMaintain workshop facilities and capital assets such as compressors and gantries.\nOversee weekly asset downtime reviews and ensure effective handovers.\nLead and manage workforce performance, training, and succession planning.\nPerson Specification\nDesired Competencies\nExperience in workshop or mobile maintenance supervision.\nStrong knowledge of maintenance processes, safety systems, and compliance.\nAbility to interpret schedules, technical documents, and OEM standards.\nStrong communication and organisational skills.\nFamiliarity with safety standards and maintenance management systems.\nQualifications & Experience\nCertificate III or IV in a mechanical trade (or equivalent).\nExperience in workshop or plant maintenance supervision.\nUnderstanding of maintenance management software.\nHR/HC licence, forklift licence, or high-risk licences (preferred).\nWhite Card and relevant site certifications.\nPersonal Attributes\nStrong leadership and team-building capability.\nProactive problem-solving mindset.\nAbility to work under pressure while maintaining standards.\nSelf-motivated, reliable, and improvement-focused.\n\nAs an employee you will be eligible to participate in a number of additional employee benefits.
