This Iconic Project has and will continue to create its own legacy in Australian history.\n\nPurpose of the Role\nThe Surveyor will report to the Senior Surveyor and will assist with the survey functions on the Snowy 2.0 Project.\n\nQualifications\nTertiary Qualifications or related discipline such as, advanced diploma or higher in surveying and spatial sciences\nWhite Card\nExperience\nMinimum 3 years’ experience working in the Construction Industry in a similar role - preferred\nExperience working on large scale construction projects or other suitable projects works\nExperience in surveying software’s including but not limited to: AutoDesk, 12D model, Leica Infinity, Mircrosurvey Starnet\n\nRequired Competencies\nSound knowledge of Australian standards, regulations and policies\nCompetent in use of surveying computer-based software\nGround Settlement Monitoring (automatic & manual systems) including reporting of data\nGood understanding of Australian and International Standards relating to concrete and earthworks\nExceptional verbal and written communication skills\nStrong attention to detail\nAbility to collaborate across technical functions, site construction engineers and external stakeholders Sound interpersonal skills\nAbility to work collaboratively\nAbility to work to deadlines and targets and can prioritise tasks under pressure\nAble to multitask, prioritise, and manage time efficiently\nGood interpersonal skills and communication\nStrong computer skills; Microsoft Office Suite or similar software\nStrong organisational skills and strong attention to detail\nExcellent safety awareness with good housekeeping habits\nAbility to carry out work instructions and directives to provide satisfactory outcomes\nAbility to work within a team environment to achieve desired results\n\nCore Accountabilities and Responsibilities\nThe surveyor is responsible for marking all lines and levels required to guide accurate and consistent construction\nThey are primarily responsible for collecting all as-built data and saving the data into the correct format.\nEnsure the accuracy of survey data including measurements and calculations.\nProvide survey services to ensure the accurate location and layout of work within the lines, grades and elevations indicated in the design drawings.\nProvide survey activities to meet Project work schedules.\nWork in conjunction with the tunnelling and construction teams\nSupport the Senior Surveyor in liaising with Design management as required to confirm consistency of any proposed changes to reference design with relevant environmental / contractual requirements\nThe above listed authorities & responsibilities are only a guide and may change as directed by your Manager/Supervisor or as per the requirements of FGJV Management.\n\nAs an employee you will be eligible to participate in a number of additional employee benefits.
