This role will support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting functions for our U.S. Broker Dealer and other U.S. subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and other regulatory reporting requirements. • Daily review and approval of journal entries posted to Oracle, the Company's ERP system.
    • Daily review and approval of bank reconciliations.
    • Management of the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely vendor payments and collection of outstanding receivables.
    • Review and approval of all reconciliations, intercompany expense allocations, month-end closing entries and adjustments, and variance analysis, including identification of the reasons behind material changes.
    • Preparation of month-end Balance Sheet, P&L, Member's Equity, and Cash Flow statements.
    • Continuous assessment of the closing process to identify opportunities for efficiency and automation, and implementation of necessary improvements.
  • Prepare and analyze financial forecasts, budgets, and other internal financial reports.
  • Develop, train, and manage accounting staff, with an emphasis on creating efficiencies in policies and processes and building an effective structure that supports the team's continued personal and professional growth.
  • Research, document, and analyze new and existing accounting pronouncements to assess any impact on the firm's reporting requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain compliance with internal controls, including documentation, testing, and remediation of any identified deficiencies.
  • Serve as a liaison with internal and external auditors, tax accountants, and regulatory examination teams.

The Skills You Bring

  • 8-12+ years of experience in broker-dealer accounting.
  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA License (Certified Public Accountant).
  • Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
  • Proven experience managing monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes across multiple entities.
  • Experience developing and mentoring accounting staff.

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Experience with Oracle.
  • Public Accounting/Audit background.
  • Public Company Accounting & SOX Compliance experience.
