The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, financial record management, account reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.\nThis role is suited to a finance professional who can maintain accurate financial records, ensure timely accounting entries, support financial reporting, and follow established accounting policies and procedures. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and hands-on experience with SAP are essential for success.\nRequirements\nKey Responsibilities\nMaintain and update General Ledger accounts by recording accurate and timely journal entries.\nPerform day-to-day accounting activities, including transaction posting, expense recording, and account classification.\nUse SAP to process accounting transactions, maintain financial records, and support general ledger operations.\nPerform regular reconciliations of general ledger accounts, bank accounts, and other balance sheet accounts.\nInvestigate accounting discrepancies, identify the root cause of variances, and coordinate timely resolution.\nAssist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing activities.\nPrepare and maintain journal entries, accruals, provisions, and adjustment entries as required.\nSupport the preparation of trial balances, account schedules, and financial reports.\nEnsure accounting transactions are supported by appropriate invoices, approvals, and other documentation.\nAssist with accounts payable and receivable activities, expense tracking, and transaction verification when required.\nMaintain organised accounting records and ensure documentation is complete and audit-ready.\nSupport internal and external audits by providing ledger details, reconciliations, and supporting documents.\nFollow established accounting policies, internal controls, and applicable statutory requirements.\nCoordinate with internal departments to obtain financial information and resolve accounting queries.\nIdentify opportunities to improve accounting accuracy, reconciliation processes, and operational efficiency.\nWhat Makes You a Great Fit\n2+ years of experience in accounting, general ledger management, or finance operations.\nStrong understanding of accounting principles, journal entries, ledger maintenance, and financial reconciliations.\nHands-on experience with SAP, particularly in general ledger accounting and financial transaction processing.\nExperience with month-end closing, account reconciliation, accruals, provisions, and adjustment entries.\nFamiliarity with trial balances, balance sheet accounts, and basic financial reporting.\nGood knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, data analysis, and reconciliation techniques.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate discrepancies.\nExcellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in financial record-keeping.\nAbility to manage multiple accounting tasks and meet reporting deadlines.\nGood communication and coordination skills for working with finance teams and other stakeholders.\nUnderstanding of internal controls, audit documentation, and accounting compliance requirements.\nA proactive approach to resolving issues, maintaining data integrity, and improving
