The role combines design leadership, client collaboration, project coordination, design quality, and execution support to deliver functional, aesthetically strong, and commercially viable interior solutions.\nThe ideal candidate will have strong expertise in commercial interior design, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to manage design projects from concept through execution. You will work closely with clients, architects, consultants, project teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure design intent is translated effectively into high-quality completed spaces.\nRequirements\nKey Responsibilities\nLead the design development of commercial interior and commercial fit-out projects from concept through execution.\nUnderstand client briefs, business requirements, workplace needs, budgets, timelines, and design expectations.\nDevelop innovative and practical design concepts aligned with project objectives and client requirements.\nLead space planning, layouts, concept presentations, material selections, and design development.\nReview architectural, interior, furniture, ceiling, flooring, lighting, and other relevant design elements.\nPrepare and review design drawings, presentations, specifications, material boards, and project documentation.\nCoordinate with architects, consultants, MEP teams, project managers, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders.\nEnsure design intent is clearly communicated to execution teams and maintained throughout project delivery.\nConduct design reviews and identify potential technical, functional, or execution-related issues.\nWork closely with estimation and procurement teams to ensure design solutions remain commercially viable.\nReview materials, finishes, samples, mock-ups, and shop drawings for compliance with approved designs.\nParticipate in client meetings, design presentations, reviews, and approval discussions.\nIncorporate client feedback while maintaining design quality, project feasibility, and timelines.\nEnsure design deliverables are completed accurately and within agreed project schedules.\nMonitor multiple projects and prioritise design deliverables based on project requirements.\nEstablish and maintain design standards, templates, processes, and quality benchmarks.\nSupport value engineering and identify opportunities to optimise cost without compromising design intent.\nConduct site visits and coordinate with project teams to resolve design and execution issues.\nReview project progress and ensure deviations from approved designs are appropriately evaluated and addressed.\nMentor and guide junior and mid-level designers and contribute to building a strong design culture.\nStay updated on commercial interior design trends, materials, workplace strategies, sustainability, and emerging design practices.\nWhat Makes You a Great Fit\n5+ years of professional experience in interior design, commercial interiors, workplace design, architecture, or a related field.\nStrong hands-on experience delivering commercial interior and commercial fit-out projects.\nProven ability to manage design projects from concept development through execution.\nStrong understanding of space planning, workplace design, materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and interior detailing.\nExperience working on corporate offices, commercial spaces, retail, hospitality, or other large-scale interior projects will be an advantage.\nStrong proficiency in design and documentation tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms.\nAbility to interpret and review architectural drawings, technical documentation, BOQs, specifications, and shop drawings.\nStrong design sensibility with excellent attention to detail, functionality, aesthetics, and buildability.\nExperience coordinating with clients, architects, consultants, contractors, vendors, and project teams.\nStrong understanding of project timelines, budgets, cost optimisation, and commercial considerations.\nExcellent presentation, communication, client-management, and stakeholder-coordination skills.\nStrong problem-solving ability with a practical and execution-oriented approach.\nAbility to manage multiple projects, priorities, deadlines, and design deliverables simultaneously.\nStrong leadership skills with experience mentoring designers and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.\nProactive, organised, and comfortable working in a fast-paced project environment.\nStrong ownership mindset with a commitment to design quality and successful project delivery.\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Interior Architecture, or a related discipline is
