We are looking for a motivated and technically curious Backend Developer with 0-5 years of experience to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Power BI, and data-driven applications, along with solid backend development fundamentals.

You will work on building and maintaining backend services, APIs, data-processing workflows, and intelligent applications. This role offers an opportunity to collaborate with engineering, analytics, and AI/ML teams while working on solutions that transform data into actionable business insights.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications, services, and APIs.
• Build backend components that support Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning use cases.
• Work with structured and unstructured data to support analytics, reporting, and intelligent decision-making.
• Develop and optimize data pipelines and integrations required for AI/ML and business intelligence applications.
• Work closely with data and analytics teams to prepare, process, and validate datasets.
• Integrate backend systems with Power BI and other business intelligence platforms to enable effective reporting and visualization.
• Develop APIs and services for consuming and exposing analytical and machine learning outputs.
• Troubleshoot application issues, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement appropriate solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, scalable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, deployment, and continuous improvement of backend systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices across backend development, AI, ML, and data analytics.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong understanding of Backend Development concepts, APIs, databases, and server-side programming.
• Hands-on knowledge of Power BI, including data integration, dashboards, reports, or business intelligence workflows.
• Understanding or practical exposure to Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts and applications.
• Knowledge of Machine Learning (ML) concepts, algorithms, model development, or ML-powered applications.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Understanding of databases, data structures, APIs, and data-processing workflows.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
• Good understanding of software development lifecycle, debugging, testing, and version control.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Background or exposure to Data Science and statistical concepts.
• Experience with Data Analytics, data visualization, and extracting insights from datasets.
• Knowledge of PHP and PHP-based backend frameworks.
• Exposure to Python or other programming languages commonly used for AI/ML and analytics.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, data pipelines, or machine learning frameworks.
• Experience working with SQL and relational or NoSQL databases.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• 0-5 years of professional experience in backend development, software engineering, data, AI/ML, or related areas.
• Freshers with strong academic projects or practical exposure to backend development, Power BI, AI, or ML may also be considered.
