The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in the Calypso platform, hands-on development experience, and a solid understanding of financial markets and trading workflows. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and cross-functional technology teams to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions that support front-office, middle-office, and back-office operations.\nThis role offers an opportunity to work on complex financial systems, implement innovative solutions, and contribute to mission-critical projects in a fast-paced environment.\nRequirements\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, customize, and maintain applications built on the Calypso platform.\nConfigure and enhance Calypso modules to meet business and regulatory requirements.\nDevelop custom workflows, interfaces, APIs, reports, scheduled tasks, and batch processes.\nIntegrate Calypso with internal and external systems using Java, messaging frameworks, and web services.\nAnalyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions while ensuring scalability and maintainability.\nCollaborate with Business Analysts, project managers, QA teams, and end users throughout the software development lifecycle.\nTroubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes.\nOptimize application performance and improve system reliability through code enhancements and best development practices.\nParticipate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and release planning activities.\nEnsure compliance with development standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements.\nPrepare technical documentation, design specifications, and deployment guides.\nSupport production releases, system upgrades, and platform migrations when required.\nRequirements\nMust-Have Skills\n4-15 years of software development experience with strong expertise in the Calypso platform.\nHands-on experience in Calypso development, customization, and configuration.\nStrong programming skills in Java and object-oriented design principles.\nExperience developing Calypso workflows, custom modules, adapters, reports, and interfaces.\nGood understanding of financial products including fixed income, derivatives, FX, commodities, or money markets.\nExperience integrating Calypso with external systems using APIs, messaging technologies, or web services.\nKnowledge of SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.\nStrong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.\nFamiliarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and version control systems such as Git.\nGood-to-Have Skills\nExperience in software testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and system validation.\nExposure to Business Analysis, including requirement gathering, functional documentation, process mapping, and stakeholder communication.\nKnowledge of DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment practices.\nExperience working with cloud platforms or containerization technologies.\nUnderstanding of capital markets regulations and post-trade processing.\nExposure to performance tuning and production support activities.\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline.\nRelevant Calypso certifications or financial technology certifications are an added advantage.\nExcellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.\nAbility to work independently while contributing effectively within cross-functional global teams.\nStrong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.\nWillingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving business
