The role involves managing field execution, coordinating multidisciplinary construction teams, and ensuring all activities are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with engineering specifications and quality standards.\nThe ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing large industrial construction projects, supervising contractors and subcontractors, monitoring project progress, and coordinating with engineering, procurement, and project controls teams to ensure successful execution.\nRequirements\nKey Responsibilities\nConstruction Execution: Manage day-to-day construction activities across assigned project areas and work packages, ensuring compliance with approved plans, schedules, budgets, and engineering specifications.\nContractor Management: Coordinate and supervise contractors, subcontractors, field engineers, and site personnel to ensure efficient execution and adherence to project requirements.\nSchedule Management: Monitor construction progress against the master schedule, identify potential delays and resource constraints, and implement corrective measures to maintain project timelines.\nHealth, Safety & Environment: Enforce site safety programs and ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations and project-specific requirements.\nQuality Assurance & Control: Oversee construction quality activities to ensure work meets engineering specifications, applicable codes, and established quality standards.\nMultidisciplinary Coordination: Coordinate civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and piping activities to ensure effective sequencing, resolve interface issues, and minimize construction delays.\n Change & Issue Management: Manage field-level change orders, Requests for Information (RFIs), and construction issues in collaboration with engineering and project controls teams.\nSite Inspections & Reviews: Conduct regular site inspections, progress meetings, and contractor performance reviews to monitor productivity, safety, and quality.\nProcurement & Logistics: Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure construction materials, equipment, and resources are available when required.\nProgress Reporting: Prepare construction progress reports, manpower forecasts, productivity analyses, and schedule updates for project leadership.\nCommissioning & Handover: Support construction completion, commissioning handover, and start-up readiness activities to ensure alignment with overall project milestones.\nTeam Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage construction superintendents, field engineers, and site support personnel, fostering accountability, collaboration, and strong execution standards.\nQualifications & Experience\nBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.\n15-20 years of experience in construction management, preferably on large-scale industrial facilities, integrated steel plants, or comparable heavy industrial projects.\nProven experience managing multidisciplinary construction teams, contractors, and subcontractors in a field execution environment.\nStrong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, site operations, and execution practices for heavy industrial facilities.\nDemonstrated expertise in construction scheduling, cost tracking, manpower planning, productivity monitoring, and change management.\nKnowledge of construction safety programs, quality assurance practices, engineering specifications, and applicable industry codes.\nExperience coordinating with engineering, procurement, project controls, and commissioning teams.\nStrong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.\nAbility to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced, greenfield construction environment.\nWorking Conditions\nLocation: United States.\nEmployment Type: Full-time.\n Work Arrangement: On-site, with a dedicated presence throughout the construction phase.\nWillingness to work in an active industrial construction environment and coordinate closely with project leadership, contractors, and field teams.\nPreferred Experience\nDirect experience managing construction for a greenfield integrated steel plant or a comparable large-scale industrial facility.\nExperience working with major Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contractors and specialized subcontractors.\nFamiliarity with U.S. construction regulations, labor
