This role requires a hands-on leader who can motivate sales teams, analyse performance, and contribute to overall store growth.\nRequirements\nKey Responsibilities\nDrive departmental sales performance and achieve monthly and annual revenue targets.\nMonitor key sales KPIs including conversion rate, Average Bill Value (ABV), and Units Per Transaction (UPT).\nDrive sales across gold, diamond, platinum, and other jewellery categories.\nIdentify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, repeat purchases, and customer retention.\nMonitor individual sales performance and implement coaching or improvement plans where required.\nLead, motivate, and supervise sales executives and other department team members.\nConduct daily team briefings and allocate individual sales targets.\nTrain team members on jewellery product knowledge, customer handling, selling techniques, and service standards.\nManage staff schedules, attendance, floor deployment, and daily manpower requirements.\nSupport the Store Manager in maintaining productivity, discipline, and overall store performance.\nEnsure customers receive a premium and personalised shopping experience.\nHandle customer complaints, escalations, enquiries, and service-related issues professionally.\nBuild relationships with high-value, repeat, and prospective customers.\nEnsure timely follow-up on customer enquiries, orders, occasions, and potential purchases.\nMonitor stock availability, merchandise movement, display standards, and product presentation.\nCoordinate stock replenishment and inter-store transfers as required.\nEnsure accurate inventory records and support regular stock audits.\nMaintain proper handling, documentation, and security of high-value jewellery.\nIdentify fast-moving and slow-moving products and communicate relevant insights to management.\nEnsure adherence to SOPs, retail processes, jewellery security, loss-prevention, and operational guidelines.\nMonitor billing accuracy, documentation, daily reporting, and store opening and closing procedures.\nPrepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly sales and performance reports.\nAnalyse product-category performance, conversion, team productivity, and target achievement.\nShare performance insights and recommendations with the Store Manager.\nIdentify opportunities to improve departmental processes, customer experience, sales productivity, and operational efficiency.\nWhat Makes You a Great Fit\n5+ years of experience in retail sales, store operations, or a similar customer-facing environment.\nStrong experience in jewellery retail or organised retail is strongly preferred.\nPrevious experience as a Department Manager, Floor Manager, Assistant Store Manager, Team Leader, or similar retail leadership role will be an advantage.\nStrong knowledge of jewellery products including gold, diamonds, platinum, and other precious jewellery categories.\nProven ability to achieve sales targets and improve departmental performance.\nStrong understanding of retail KPIs including conversion rate, ABV, UPT, customer satisfaction, and team productivity.\nExperience managing, motivating, coaching, and developing frontline sales teams.\nStrong customer relationship-management skills, particularly with high-value and repeat customers.\nGood understanding of inventory management, stock reconciliation, merchandise movement, and loss prevention.\nStrong awareness of jewellery security, operational controls, and SOP compliance.\nExcellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and customer-handling skills.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a results-oriented approach.\nHigh attention to detail, organisation, discipline, and process orientation.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high standards of customer service and operational execution.\nProficiency with POS, inventory management, and retail reporting systems.\nComfortable working in a target-driven and fast-paced retail environment.\nStrong ownership mindset with the ability to independently manage a department while supporting overall store objectives.\nGraduate degree or equivalent qualification is
