The role requires an in-depth understanding of education financing products, lending processes, and the local education ecosystem, along with the ability to drive business growth through effective sales strategies and strong market connections.\nRequirements\nKey Responsibilities\nDrive education loan sales and business development across the Ahmedabad market, achieving assigned business targets and revenue objectives.\nDevelop and maintain strong relationships with educational institutions, universities, colleges, coaching centres, student consultants, and other relevant channel partners.\nIdentify new business opportunities and generate leads through direct sales, institutional tie-ups, referrals, and strategic partnerships.\nBuild and manage a strong pipeline of prospective students and parents seeking domestic and international education financing.\nUnderstand customer requirements and recommend suitable education loan products based on eligibility, financial needs, and course requirements.\nManage the complete loan sales cycle, including lead generation, customer engagement, documentation, application processing, disbursement coordination, and post-sales support.\nCoordinate with credit, risk, operations, and underwriting teams to ensure smooth and timely loan processing.\nConduct market research to identify competitor offerings, customer preferences, emerging opportunities, and changing trends in the education loan segment.\nDevelop and execute sales strategies to expand market presence and increase loan disbursement volumes.\nMonitor sales performance, maintain accurate MIS reports, and provide regular updates on business progress and market developments.\nEnsure compliance with internal policies, lending guidelines, regulatory requirements, and documentation standards.\nProvide excellent customer service and maintain long-term relationships with students, parents, and institutional partners.\nMust-Have Skills & Experience\n8-13 years of relevant experience in education loan sales, preferably with banks, NBFCs, financial institutions, or education financing companies.\nStrong understanding of education loan products, lending procedures, credit assessment, eligibility criteria, and loan documentation.\nProven experience in achieving sales targets and driving business growth in the education loan segment.\nStrong knowledge of the Ahmedabad market, including local educational institutions, universities, colleges, and relevant channel partners.\nEstablished network and relationships with education consultants, student counsellors, institutional partners, and other lead-generation channels.\nExcellent business development, negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.\nAbility to independently manage sales pipelines, generate quality leads, and convert prospects into successful loan disbursements.\nStrong customer orientation, problem-solving abilities, and market development skills.\nPreferred Candidate Profile\nThe ideal candidate should be a self-driven sales professional with strong local market knowledge, an established network in Ahmedabad, and the ability to independently drive education loan business.
