The role combines people leadership, product thinking, technical execution, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver scalable, reliable, and user-focused technology solutions.\nThe ideal candidate will be a strong engineering leader who can work closely with Product Managers, designers, data teams, and senior stakeholders to translate business objectives into effective technical solutions. You will be responsible for building high-performing engineering teams, driving delivery excellence, and ensuring engineering decisions remain aligned with product and customer outcomes.\nRequirements\nKey Responsibilities\nLead and manage engineering teams responsible for iOS, product engineering, and data-related initiatives.\nPartner with Product Managers to translate product strategy, customer needs, and business requirements into technical execution plans.\nOwn engineering delivery across multiple projects, ensuring quality, timelines, scalability, and reliability.\nProvide technical direction for iOS application architecture, development, integrations, and production releases.\nCollaborate with Data Engineering teams on scalable data pipelines, processing systems, integrations, and data platforms.\nParticipate in architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and technology decisions.\nEstablish engineering standards around code quality, testing, security, performance, and maintainability.\nMentor engineers and technical leads while building a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.\nIdentify technical risks, dependencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for process or architecture improvements.\nWork with Product, Design, QA, Data, DevOps, and other teams to ensure effective end-to-end product delivery.\nMonitor engineering metrics, delivery progress, production reliability, and overall team performance.\nSupport hiring, onboarding, performance management, and development of engineering talent.\nDrive continuous improvement in development workflows, CI/CD, testing, observability, and release processes.\nEnsure engineering solutions are scalable and capable of supporting evolving product and business requirements.\nCommunicate technical progress, risks, trade-offs, and recommendations clearly to senior stakeholders.\nWhat Makes You a Great Fit\n4+ years of experience in software engineering, engineering management, technical leadership, or a closely related role.\nStrong experience leading engineering teams and delivering production-grade technology products.\nGood understanding of iOS development, mobile application architecture, and the Apple development ecosystem.\nStrong product mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with Product Managers and translate business requirements into engineering outcomes.\nWorking knowledge of Data Engineering, including data pipelines, integrations, processing systems, data platforms, and data quality.\nExperience with architecture, system design, APIs, distributed systems, and scalable application development.\nStrong understanding of software development lifecycle, Agile methodologies, testing, deployment, and production operations.\nProven ability to mentor engineers, manage performance, delegate effectively, and build high-performing teams.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with sound technical judgement.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.\nAbility to balance technical excellence, product priorities, delivery timelines, and business objectives.\nStrong ownership mindset with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment.\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline is
