candidate will combine strong backend and systems engineering expertise with proven leadership capabilities, working closely with Product, Program, Support, and Business teams to deliver reliable, high-performance platform solutions.\nRequirements\nKey Responsibilities\nTeam Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of software engineers, fostering ownership, accountability, collaboration, and continuous professional growth.\nPlatform Engineering: Drive the development and operation of scalable, reliable, and secure platform services and database connectors supporting mission-critical data pipelines.\nOperational Excellence: Establish proactive monitoring, automated operational processes, and continuous improvement practices to enhance platform stability and efficiency.\nQuality Engineering: Promote a quality-first engineering culture across the complete development lifecycle, from architecture and design through implementation, testing, and deployment.\nTechnical Leadership: Guide system architecture, conduct architecture reviews, provide code-level guidance, and resolve complex platform engineering challenges.\nDistributed Systems: Build and operate multi-tenant, distributed backend systems capable of supporting large-scale enterprise workloads.\nCross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Program, Support, and Business teams to align technical priorities, execution plans, and customer requirements.\nReliability and Security: Embed observability, reliability, security, and auditability principles into platform architecture and engineering practices.\nPerformance Management: Define and monitor data-driven KPIs to measure operational efficiency, platform performance, and team effectiveness.\nProduct Ownership: Take end-to-end responsibility for assigned product lines, ensuring timely delivery, operational quality, and customer success.\n Hiring and Team Growth: Contribute to recruitment, team development, and the creation of an inclusive, learning-oriented engineering environment.\nRequired Qualifications and Experience\n10+ years of experience in backend development or systems software engineering.\nAt least 2 years of experience in a formal or informal Engineering Manager, Senior Engineering Manager, or Tech Lead role within a fast-paced engineering environment.\nDemonstrated career progression through senior individual-contributor roles such as Tech Lead, Staff Engineer, or Principal Engineer.\nStrong experience designing and building distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, and multi-tenant platforms.\nExpertise in system design, scalability, performance optimization, and infrastructure cost management.\nProven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and collaborate effectively with Product, Support, Business, and Program teams.\nDemonstrated ability to establish accountability, define clear goals, and improve overall team performance.\nStrong experience mentoring engineers, guiding architectural decisions, and delivering high-impact technical initiatives.\nExcellent communication skills, with the ability to balance strategic thinking and
