The role will be responsible for identifying opportunities to digitize and optimize finance processes, strengthen financial controls, improve data visibility, and leverage technology to enable faster and more effective decision-making.\nThe ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Finance Transformation, Manufacturing Finance, and SAP, with the ability to work across finance, technology, operations, and business teams. This role requires a combination of finance domain knowledge, digital transformation experience, process excellence, and strong stakeholder management skills.\nRequirements\nKey Responsibilities\nOwn and lead the finance transformation and digital roadmap, aligned with overall business and manufacturing objectives.\nIdentify opportunities to simplify, standardize, automate, and digitize end-to-end finance processes across multiple business functions and locations.\nDrive transformation across core finance areas including Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Fixed Assets, Cost Accounting, Management Reporting, FP&A, and Financial Planning.\nPartner with finance leadership, IT, manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, and business stakeholders to define transformation priorities and deliver measurable outcomes.\nLead implementation, enhancement, and optimization of SAP-based finance solutions, ensuring effective integration with business processes and other enterprise systems.\nEvaluate existing finance processes and systems, identify gaps, and develop future-state operating models and technology solutions.\nDrive automation and digital initiatives that improve process efficiency, data quality, controls, reporting, and finance productivity.\nEstablish governance frameworks, transformation KPIs, project milestones, and benefits-tracking mechanisms.\nManage cross-functional transformation programs from strategy and business case development through implementation, adoption, and continuous improvement.\nEnsure finance systems and digital solutions comply with internal controls, audit requirements, and relevant accounting and business policies.\nWork closely with technology teams to define functional requirements, solution architecture, integrations, testing, and deployment plans.\nSupport change management, user adoption, training, and communication for new finance processes and digital platforms.\nIdentify emerging technologies and assess their potential application within finance and manufacturing operations.\nMust-Have Skills\nStrong experience in Finance Transformation and large-scale digital transformation programs.\n10-18 years of overall experience, preferably within manufacturing or industrial organizations.\nStrong understanding of manufacturing finance, costing, controlling, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.\nHands-on experience with SAP, particularly SAP Finance/Controlling processes and transformation initiatives.\nExperience managing complex, cross-functional transformation programs involving Finance and IT.\nStrong understanding of finance process standardization, automation, controls, and operating-model transformation.\nExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work with senior business and technology leadership.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, program management, and change-management capabilities.\nGood-to-Have Skills\nExposure to Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and their integration with finance and enterprise platforms.\nUnderstanding of Smart Factory, Industry 4.0, IoT, connected manufacturing, and digital plant initiatives.\nExperience integrating manufacturing, operational, and financial data for real-time reporting and decision-making.\nExposure to advanced analytics, AI/automation, process mining, or other emerging digital technologies.\nExperience working on global SAP transformation, ERP modernization, or enterprise digital programs.","description_format":"text","description_chars":4242,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[{"name":"India","iso":"IN","kind":"country"}],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":[],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-23T08:49:45Z"}],"liveness":{"score":52,"band":"ok","label":"Likely open","p_open":1,"p_active":0.516,"p_room":1,"age_days":0,"expected_fill_days":5,"reasons":["conf:0","agency","win:early","comp:brand"],"computed_at":"2026-09-23T16:16:07Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/weekday-finance-transformation-digital-owner","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/weekday-finance-transformation-digital-owner.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-09-23T16:16:07Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers"}}
