The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Guidewire integration frameworks, APIs, middleware technologies, and Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance processes.\nThe role involves developing reliable integration solutions, configuring Guidewire components, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data exchange between Guidewire platforms and third-party applications.\nRequirements\nKey Responsibilities\n1. Guidewire Integration Development\nDevelop, implement, and maintain integrations for Guidewire InsuranceSuite applications, including PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter.\nConfigure and customise components of the Guidewire Integration Framework to meet business and technical requirements.\nDevelop RESTful APIs and SOAP-based web services to enable communication between Guidewire applications and external systems.\nBuild inbound and outbound integrations with third-party applications and enterprise platforms.\nImplement integration solutions using plugins, messaging frameworks, batch processes, and event-driven architectures.\n2. API and Middleware Integration\nDesign and implement scalable integration services using REST APIs, SOAP web services, XML, JSON, and XSD.\nWork with the Guidewire Messaging Framework and relevant integration patterns to facilitate reliable data exchange.\nSupport integrations using middleware technologies and enterprise integration tools.\nEnsure data consistency, integration reliability, and adherence to established technical standards.\n3. Configuration and Customisation\nDevelop and maintain Guidewire solutions using Gosu programming.\nWork with the Guidewire data model and application configuration to support integration requirements.\nApply Guidewire development best practices and coding standards.\nCollaborate with business analysts, solution architects, and functional teams to translate business requirements into technical integration designs.\n4. Testing and Troubleshooting\nTroubleshoot integration failures, investigate defects, and perform root cause analysis.\nConduct unit testing and support integration testing to ensure solution quality.\nParticipate in code reviews and resolve issues identified during development and testing.\nSupport deployment activities and troubleshoot issues across development, testing, and production environments.\n5. Documentation and Collaboration\nPrepare technical design documents, integration specifications, and implementation documentation.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.\nContribute to continuous improvement of integration processes, code quality, and system performance.\nWork within Agile/Scrum environments to deliver integration solutions on schedule.\nRequired Skills and Qualifications\n3-5 years of experience in Guidewire development and integration.\nStrong hands-on experience with Guidewire InsuranceSuite applications, including PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter.\nProficiency in the Guidewire Integration Framework and Gosu programming.\nExperience with Java/J2EE and enterprise application development.\nStrong knowledge of REST APIs, SOAP web services, XML, JSON, and XSD.\nExperience with the Guidewire Messaging Framework, plugins, batch processes, and integration patterns.\nUnderstanding of the Guidewire data model and application configuration.\nWorking knowledge of SQL and relational databases.\nExperience with version control and CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.\nStrong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to collaborate effectively with technical and functional stakeholders.\nMust-Have Skills\nGuidewire InsuranceSuite\nGuidewire Integration Framework\nGosu Programming\nGood-to-Have Skills\nGuidewire Associate Certification\nGuidewire Specialist Certification\nGuidewire Cloud Platform\nPreferred Skills and Experience\nGuidewire Associate or Specialist certification.\nExperience working with the Guidewire Cloud Platform.\nExposure to Integration Gateway and Guidewire Cloud APIs.\nFamiliarity with middleware technologies such as MuleSoft, Apache Camel, Boomi, or Informatica.\nUnderstanding of cloud services offered by AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).\nExperience working in Agile/Scrum development
