Proficiency in CAD software such as CATIA V5, UG NX, or SolidWorks will be an advantage.\nRequirements\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign and develop welding fixtures, jigs, assembly tools, and fabrication tooling based on project specifications and technical requirements.\nPrepare engineering concepts, tooling layouts, detailed manufacturing drawings, and supporting technical documentation.\nApply mechanical design principles, geometric tolerancing, material selection, and manufacturability considerations throughout the design process.\nEnsure tooling designs meet functional, safety, accessibility, reliability, and ease-of-manufacturing requirements.\nCoordinate with project, manufacturing, quality, and customer-facing teams to clarify requirements and resolve design-related issues.\nParticipate in design reviews, engineering modifications, tool trials, validation, and implementation activities.\nApply knowledge of welding practices, fabrication processes, assembly methods, and manufacturing requirements to develop effective design solutions.\nMaintain accurate design documentation and ensure timely delivery of assigned engineering tasks in line with quality standards.\nUse CAD tools to create, modify, and validate tooling designs and engineering drawings.\nWhat Makes You a Great Fit?\nBachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.\n2-5 years of relevant experience in mechanical tooling design.\nHands-on experience in at least one of the following areas:\nBIW welding fixtures.\nWelding jigs and fixtures for bus and rail transportation.\nWelding and assembly tools for aerospace applications.\nWelding jigs and tooling for heavy-duty fabrication.\nGood understanding of mechanical engineering drawings, welding processes, fabrication techniques, and assembly methods.\nProficiency in CAD software such as CATIA V5, UG NX, or SolidWorks.\nAbility to interpret engineering specifications and translate them into practical, accurate, and manufacturable tooling designs.\nKnowledge of tolerancing, material selection, design standards, and manufacturing feasibility.\nStrong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and coordination skills.\nAttention to detail, effective documentation practices, and the ability to meet project deadlines while maintaining design
