We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Associate to support day-to-day business operations, performance tracking, reporting, and process execution. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with data, coordinating with multiple teams, monitoring performance metrics, and ensuring operational activities are completed accurately and on time.

This role is well suited for an early-career professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has strong analytical and organizational skills, and is interested in building a career in operations and performance management.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate day-to-day operational activities to ensure smooth and timely execution of business processes.
• Monitor individual and team performance against defined targets, KPIs, SLAs, and operational metrics.
• Maintain regular performance trackers and identify gaps, deviations, and areas requiring corrective action.
• Prepare accurate and timely MIS reports, dashboards, and operational summaries for management review.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends, productivity gaps, bottlenecks, and performance-related issues.
• Coordinate with internal teams to follow up on pending tasks, resolve operational challenges, and ensure adherence to defined processes.
• Support managers in tracking team productivity, attendance, task completion, quality, and other relevant performance indicators.
• Maintain accurate operational records, databases, trackers, and documentation.
• Ensure processes are followed consistently and highlight recurring issues to the relevant stakeholders.
• Assist in implementing action plans to improve productivity, turnaround time, quality, and overall operational efficiency.
• Participate in regular performance reviews and provide data-backed updates to team leads and management.
• Support the creation and maintenance of SOPs, process documentation, and operational guidelines.

Must-Have Skills

Performance Management

• Ability to track and monitor individual and team performance against KPIs and targets.
• Strong understanding of productivity, quality, efficiency, and performance metrics.
• Ability to identify performance gaps and support corrective actions.

Operations Management

• Good understanding of day-to-day business operations and process execution.
• Strong organizational and task-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.

MIS Reporting

• Strong proficiency in MS Excel or Google Sheets.
• Ability to create, maintain, and analyze MIS reports and operational trackers.
• Comfortable working with large datasets and presenting information in a clear and structured manner.
• Basic knowledge of formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis is preferred.

Good-to-Have Skills

Process Improvement

• Ability to identify inefficiencies and suggest practical improvements.
• Exposure to process optimization, SOP development, or workflow improvement would be an advantage.

Stakeholder Management

• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and follow up with stakeholders.

People Management

• Basic understanding of team coordination and people management.
• Ability to support team leads with task allocation, productivity tracking, and performance follow-ups.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 0-3 years of experience in operations, business operations, MIS, performance management, coordination, or a related field.
• Freshers with strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills may also be considered.
• Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to problem-solving.
• Comfortable working with numbers, reports, and operational data.
• Proactive attitude with the ability to take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and take on increasing responsibilities as the business grows.
