This role combines HR business partnership, people operations, performance management, employee engagement, organisational effectiveness, and operational execution.\nThe ideal candidate will be a trusted partner to leadership and employees, with the ability to bring structure to ambiguity, build strong relationships, and translate business and people needs into practical solutions. You will work closely with India leadership, particularly engineering and product teams, while collaborating with the global People function.\nRequirements\nKey Responsibilities\nOwn and continuously improve employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, employee transitions, and exits.\nPartner with managers and leaders on performance management, feedback, team effectiveness, accountability, and employee development.\nSupport the implementation and execution of performance management practices in collaboration with global People teams.\nHelp managers establish effective practices around one-on-ones, expectations, feedback, and development conversations.\nWork closely with leadership to clarify roles, responsibilities, reporting structures, and organisational expectations.\nBuild strong relationships with employees and proactively identify concerns, engagement issues, and workplace challenges.\nHandle sensitive employee matters and conversations with discretion, empathy, sound judgement, and confidentiality.\nCollaborate with Talent, Finance, leadership, employees, and global People teams to resolve operational and people-related issues.\nIdentify recurring HR and employee-experience challenges and develop simple, scalable, and sustainable processes.\nImprove consistency and efficiency across People operations while avoiding unnecessary bureaucracy.\nSupport organisational changes and evolving people requirements as the business scales.\nProvide practical recommendations to leadership on people, team, performance, and organisational matters.\nMaintain accurate People processes, documentation, and employee records.\nEnsure timely follow-through on employee and manager requests, commitments, and action items.\nContribute to building a strong, connected, and high-performing workplace culture.\nWhat Makes You a Great Fit\n5+ years of relevant experience across People, HR, HR Business Partnering, Talent, People Operations, or broader business operations.\nMeaningful experience balancing employee-facing responsibilities with hands-on HR execution.\nExperience working within a growing technology, product, engineering, or global organisation.\nStrong ability to partner effectively with engineering, product, and business leaders.\nProven experience supporting performance management, employee relations, manager effectiveness, and organisational development.\nDemonstrated ability to build or improve processes and take ownership of problems through resolution.\nComfortable operating in ambiguous and fast-changing environments with limited predefined processes.\nStrong business judgement with the ability to identify priorities, make practical recommendations, and adapt as circumstances evolve.\nExcellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder-management skills.\nStrong discretion and emotional intelligence when handling sensitive employee matters.\nAbility to challenge constructively while maintaining strong relationships and trust.\nHighly hands-on approach with a willingness to manage operational details and take ownership beyond defined responsibilities.\nStrong organisational and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.\nExperience transitioning from HR or Talent into a broader People Partner or operating role would be an advantage.\nWillingness and ability to work in-office in Bengaluru and remain closely connected with employees and leadership.\nA proactive mindset with a strong focus on employee experience, operational excellence, and continuous
