You will also contribute to CI/CD automation, defect investigation, test coverage improvement, and continuous enhancement of QA practices.\nRequirements\nKey Responsibilities\nLead QA activities and contribute to the overall quality strategy for products and features.\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable automated test suites using Playwright.\nCreate comprehensive functional, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end test cases.\nTest developer-facing products, APIs, CLI tools, and complex software workflows.\nDevelop reliable automation scripts using Java, JavaScript, Python, or TypeScript.\nBuild and maintain reusable automation frameworks and testing utilities.\nIntegrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure reliable continuous testing.\nCollaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and identify potential quality risks.\nPerform detailed defect analysis, troubleshooting, and root-cause investigation.\nWork closely with engineering teams to reproduce, track, and resolve software defects.\nIdentify gaps in test coverage and continuously improve automation effectiveness.\nValidate application functionality, usability, reliability, and overall user experience.\nParticipate in release planning, regression testing, and quality assessments.\nMaintain test documentation, automation standards, and quality metrics.\nWork effectively in an asynchronous environment and communicate progress, risks, and issues clearly.\nContribute to improvements in QA processes, tools, frameworks, and engineering best practices.\nWhat Makes You a Great Fit\n5+ years of experience in QA, software testing, or quality engineering, including experience leading QA initiatives.\nStrong hands-on experience with Playwright and modern test automation practices.\nProven experience testing APIs, CLI tools, developer-facing products, or large-scale applications.\nStrong programming skills in Java, JavaScript, Python, or TypeScript.\nExtensive experience writing, maintaining, and optimising automated test cases.\nStrong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and continuous testing practices.\nExcellent debugging, troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\nStrong knowledge of software testing methodologies, test strategy, regression testing, and defect management.\nExceptional attention to detail and a strong focus on delivering clean, reliable user experiences.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to take ownership of QA initiatives and work independently while collaborating effectively with engineering and product teams.\nComfortable working in a startup or fast-paced product environment.\nExperience with Node.js, Electron applications, and Git-based development workflows is an advantage.\nExposure to open-source projects or contributions is a plus.\nExperience testing API clients or other developer-oriented applications will be an added
