The role requires strong expertise in test automation frameworks, programming, CI/CD integration, functional testing, regression testing, and automation best practices.\nThe ideal candidate will work closely with Development, Product, DevOps, and QA teams to expand automation coverage and ensure high-quality releases across web, mobile, and OTT applications.\nRequirements\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks.\nCreate and execute automated test suites covering functional, regression, integration, and other relevant testing scenarios.\nDevelop automated tests for web, mobile, and OTT applications.\nIntegrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and reliable releases.\nUse automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or similar tools.\nDevelop automation solutions using Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or other suitable programming languages.\nAnalyse test failures, investigate root causes, and collaborate with developers to resolve defects.\nReview business requirements, technical designs, and application changes from a testability and automation perspective.\nMaintain, refactor, and enhance existing automation frameworks to improve reliability and maintainability.\nIncrease automation coverage across critical application workflows and regression scenarios.\nDevelop reusable test components, utilities, libraries, and automation scripts.\nDefine and follow automation standards, coding practices, documentation, and quality engineering guidelines.\nCollaborate with Manual QA, Development, DevOps, Product, and other stakeholders to improve release quality.\nSupport test planning, execution, reporting, defect tracking, and release validation.\nParticipate in CI/CD and deployment workflows and troubleshoot automation failures within pipelines.\nEvaluate and recommend appropriate automation tools, frameworks, and technologies.\nContribute to performance, API, integration, and other non-functional testing initiatives where required.\nIdentify opportunities to improve test execution speed, reliability, scalability, and overall QA efficiency.\nMaintain technical documentation for automation frameworks, test suites, processes, and standards.\nContribute to continuous improvement initiatives and mentor team members where required.\nWhat Makes You a Great Fit\n3+ years of experience in QA Automation, Software Testing, Quality Engineering, or a related field.\nStrong hands-on experience with at least one automation framework such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or similar tools.\nStrong programming experience in at least one language such as Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.\nProven experience developing, maintaining, and enhancing automated testing frameworks.\nHands-on experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.\nGood understanding of SDLC, software testing methodologies, test strategies, and QA processes.\nStrong debugging, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills.\nExperience designing reliable, reusable, scalable, and maintainable automation solutions.\nGood understanding of functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.\nExperience with API testing and automation would be an advantage.\nExperience testing web, mobile, and OTT applications is highly desirable.\nFamiliarity with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar CI/CD tools.\nExperience with performance testing and non-functional testing would be an advantage.\nStrong understanding of Git and modern software development workflows.\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across QA, Engineering, Product, and DevOps teams.\nAbility to work independently, manage multiple testing priorities, and take ownership of automation deliverables.\nExperience defining automation standards, best practices, and technical documentation is desirable.\nTechnical leadership, mentoring, or contributions to open-source projects would be an advantage.\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical
