The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with the Karate API Automation Framework, GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines, and AWS, along with a solid understanding of manual and automated testing practices.\nThis role focuses on building reliable, reusable automation solutions, validating backend data, and ensuring the quality of complex system integrations, including IoT data flows. The successful candidate will collaborate with engineering and customer teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and dependable software solutions.\nRequirements\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain automated API test suites using the Karate API Automation Framework.\nPerform both manual and automated testing to validate application functionality, reliability, and integration behaviour.\nBuild reusable automation scripts and common testing components to improve efficiency and maintainability.\nManage end-to-end automation across API and UI layers wherever required.\nIntegrate automated test suites with GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and reliable releases.\nExecute API testing using tools such as Postman, Bruno, and Rest Assured.\nPerform backend data validation across Amazon DynamoDB and Amazon Redshift to ensure data accuracy and consistency.\nWrite and execute SQL queries to validate data, investigate discrepancies, and support test analysis.\nValidate system integrations, data exchanges, and IoT data flows across connected systems.\nCollaborate with engineering, business, and customer teams to understand requirements and translate them into test scenarios.\nDocument test plans, test cases, automation scripts, defects, and execution results.\nIdentify, investigate, and report defects, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate resolution with development teams.\nFollow established Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) practices.\nSupport regression testing, integration testing, release validation, and continuous quality improvement.\nMaintain test-management records and traceability using tools such as Xray, where applicable.\nContribute to improving test coverage, automation standards, and overall quality assurance practices.\nWhat Makes You a Great Fit\n6+ years of experience in quality assurance, software testing, and test automation.\nStrong hands-on experience with the Karate API Automation Framework.\nProven experience in both manual testing and automation testing.\nStrong understanding of API testing, REST services, HTTP methods, status codes, request/response validation, and authentication.\nPractical experience with GitHub, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD automation workflows.\nWorking knowledge of AWS services, particularly DynamoDB and data-validation workflows involving Redshift.\nExperience with SQL queries and backend data validation.\nFamiliarity with Postman, Bruno, or Rest Assured for API testing.\nUnderstanding of end-to-end testing, integration testing, regression testing, and reusable automation design.\nExperience validating system integrations and IoT-related data flows is highly desirable.\nFamiliarity with Xray Test Management is an advantage.\nStrong understanding of SDLC, STLC, defect management, and quality assurance best practices.\nExcellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with distributed teams.\nAbility to independently manage testing deliverables, prioritise tasks, and maintain high standards of quality and
