The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in manufacturing quality systems, product inspections, defect prevention, process improvement, and compliance with established quality standards.\nThis role requires a hands-on quality leader who can establish robust inspection processes, improve manufacturing reliability, reduce product defects, and ensure that finished laptops and computer hardware meet defined performance, durability, and reliability requirements.\nRequirements\nKey Responsibilities\nLead quality control activities across laptop and computer hardware manufacturing operations.\nEstablish and maintain quality inspection procedures for incoming components, in-process production, and finished products.\nOversee testing of laptops, motherboards, memory, storage devices, displays, batteries, power adapters, and other hardware components.\nMonitor manufacturing processes to identify defects, deviations, and potential product failures.\nDevelop and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to reduce defects and improve product reliability.\nConduct root-cause analysis using appropriate quality tools and methodologies.\nDefine and track quality KPIs, including defect rates, first-pass yield, rework, rejection rates, and customer returns.\nCoordinate with suppliers to address component-quality issues and improve incoming material standards.\nLead internal quality audits, supplier assessments, process audits, and product inspections.\nEnsure adherence to documented quality procedures, manufacturing specifications, and relevant compliance requirements.\nManage, train, and mentor quality engineers, inspectors, and technicians.\nMaintain accurate quality records, inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and audit documentation.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to improve production efficiency, minimise waste, and prevent recurring quality issues.\nSupport new product introductions, process validation, and quality reviews for new laptop or hardware models.\nWhat Makes You a Great Fit\n9+ years of experience in quality control, quality assurance, or manufacturing quality management, preferably in computer hardware or electronics manufacturing.\nStrong knowledge of laptop manufacturing, computer hardware components, assembly processes, and product testing.\nProven experience managing quality teams and implementing manufacturing quality systems.\nExperience with incoming quality control (IQC), in-process quality control (IPQC), and final quality control (FQC).\nStrong understanding of root-cause analysis, CAPA, defect tracking, and continuous improvement methodologies.\nFamiliarity with quality management systems such as ISO 9001 and relevant electronics manufacturing standards.\nExperience conducting supplier audits, process audits, and product reliability assessments.\nStrong analytical, organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to interpret technical specifications, inspection data, and quality reports.\nA degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline is
