The role will work closely with Global Trade Compliance, Customs, Supply Chain, Logistics, Legal, and Enterprise IT teams to ensure efficient and compliant cross-border trade operations.\nThe ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise in SAP GTS, experience integrating GTS with SAP S/4HANA and core business processes, and a solid understanding of international trade regulations, customs processes, compliance screening, licensing, classification, and trade preferences.\nRequirements\nKey Responsibilities\nSAP GTS Solution Design & Process Analysis\nConduct workshops with Global Trade Compliance, Customs, Logistics, Supply Chain, and Legal stakeholders to understand business requirements.\nAnalyze and design cross-border trade processes, compliance policies, customs clearance workflows, and trade controls.\nSupport end-to-end SAP GTS solutions across:\nCompliance Management\nSanctioned Party List (SPL) screening\nEmbargo checks\nLegal Control and licensing\nCustoms Management\nImport and export declarations\nTrade Preference Management\nFree Trade Agreement (FTA) processing\nDefine functional integration points between SAP GTS and SAP S/4HANA, including Sales & Distribution, Materials Management, and Logistics Execution.\nSupport integration with customs brokers, government gateways, and external trade compliance systems.\nConfiguration & Functional Delivery\nPerform hands-on functional configuration of SAP GTS, including:\nPartner Functions\nLegal Regulations\nLicense Determination Procedures\nSPL Screening\nProduct Classification\nHS/HTS Codes\nECCN Classification\nCustoms Duty Calculations\nTranslate business requirements into functional specifications and solution designs.\nPrepare detailed Functional Specification Documents (FSDs) for RICEFW objects, custom interfaces, screening logic, and regulatory reporting.\nSupport EDI/XML-based customs messaging and related integration requirements.\nLead or support integration testing, UAT, cutover activities, master data migration, and post-go-live hypercare.\nSupport migration and maintenance of Business Partner, tariff, classification, and trade master data.\nCompliance & Process Optimization\nAnalyze and improve trade compliance processes, screening performance, and operational efficiency.\nSupport reduction of false-positive results and optimization of sanctioned-party screening.\nImprove automated license assignment and real-time resolution of compliance-related order blocks.\nMonitor regulatory and tariff changes and ensure appropriate system updates and configuration.\nSupport implementation of new trade agreements and evolving international trade requirements.\nSAP Integration & Technical Collaboration\nWork closely with SAP technical teams to troubleshoot integration and functional issues.\nSupport integration between SAP GTS and SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC across Order-to-Cash (SD) and Procure-to-Pay (MM/PP) processes.\nRead and understand ABAP code to support functional analysis and troubleshooting.\nAssist with debugging GTS user exits and BAdIs.\nTroubleshoot IDoc, XML, and customs message interfaces.\nSupport SAP Fiori-based interfaces and GTS-related user experiences.\nContribute to SAP GTS and S/4HANA transformation and integration roadmaps.\nRequired Qualifications & Experience\n8+ years of hands-on functional experience with SAP GTS.\nStrong experience across SAP GTS Compliance Management, Customs Management, and Trade Preference Management.\nExperience with at least 2 full-lifecycle SAP GTS implementations is preferred.\nDeep understanding of:\nSanctioned Party List (SPL) Screening\nEmbargo Checks\nExport/Import License Determination\nHTS/ECCN Classification\nCustoms Declarations\nTrade Preference Processing\nStrong experience integrating SAP GTS with SAP S/4HANA / SAP ECC.\nGood understanding of SAP SD and MM/PP processes, particularly Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay.\nAbility to understand ABAP code and troubleshoot GTS enhancements, user exits, and BAdIs.\nExperience troubleshooting IDoc/XML-based customs messages and interfaces.\nStrong understanding of international trade compliance and customs processes.\nDomain Knowledge\nUnderstanding of international trade laws and regulations.\nFamiliarity with EAR, ITAR, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) requirements.\nKnowledge of Automated Export System (AES) and related export processes.\nUnderstanding of global trade compliance frameworks, customs regulations, tariffs, and trade agreements.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience implementing or migrating to SAP GTS, edition for SAP S/4HANA.\nExperience integrating SAP GTS with customs brokers and government gateways.\nExposure to third-party restricted-party screening solutions.\nExperience with SAP Fiori in GTS environments.\nSAP GTS certification is preferred.\nKey Competencies\nStrong functional and
