The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, risk and change management, and a structured approach to delivering enterprise SAP transformations.\nRequirements\nKey Responsibilities\nLead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA and Cloud implementation programs across planning, execution, testing, deployment, and post-go-live phases.\nManage large-scale SAP ERP projects involving multiple functional, technical, compliance, and third-party workstreams.\nDevelop and maintain project plans, milestones, dependencies, governance structures, and delivery schedules.\nCoordinate project activities across SAP functional and technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and implementation partners.\nLead scope, risk, issue, dependency, and change management throughout the project lifecycle.\nDefine and oversee comprehensive testing strategies, including test planning, execution, defect management, and readiness assessments.\nTake responsibility for test management and cutover management for SAP S/4HANA and Cloud implementations.\nDevelop detailed cutover plans and coordinate activities required for successful production deployment.\nCoordinate data migration activities and ensure appropriate business and technical readiness.\nManage release planning and deployment activities, particularly for cloud-based SAP solutions.\nEnsure project documentation, status reporting, governance updates, and management communications are maintained accurately.\nCoordinate post-go-live activities, hypercare, issue resolution, and transition to support teams.\nEnsure project execution aligns with applicable GxP practices, quality requirements, and organisational standards.\nApply appropriate Waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid project management methodologies based on program requirements.\nMonitor delivery progress, identify risks and delays, and drive timely corrective actions.\nManage senior stakeholders and ensure effective communication across business, technology, compliance, and external teams.\nWhat Makes You a Great Fit\n10+ years of experience in SAP project, program, or implementation management, with strong experience leading enterprise-scale initiatives.\nProven experience managing multiple SAP S/4HANA and Cloud Technology implementations.\nStrong understanding of large-scale ERP program delivery and SAP implementation methodologies.\nHands-on experience as a Test Manager and/or Cutover Manager for SAP S/4HANA or Cloud implementations.\nStrong knowledge of testing strategy, test execution, defect management, release management, and production readiness.\nProven experience in cutover planning, execution, data migration, go-live, and hypercare activities.\nStrong understanding of scope, risk, issue, dependency, and change management.\nExperience working with Waterfall, Agile, and/or Hybrid delivery methodologies.\nKnowledge of GxP practices and regulated implementation environments.\nExperience coordinating functional, technical, compliance, business, and third-party teams.\nStrong project governance, documentation, reporting, and stakeholder-management capabilities.\nExcellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and complex project dependencies in a fast-paced enterprise environment.\n Pharma or life sciences industry experience would be an advantage.","description_format":"text","description_chars":3827,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Biotechnology"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-25T14:04:02Z"}],"liveness":{"score":33,"band":"fade","label":"Fading","p_open":1,"p_active":0.328,"p_room":1,"age_days":1,"expected_fill_days":5,"reasons":["conf:0","agency","stale_co","velocity","win:early","comp:brand"],"computed_at":"2026-09-27T05:45:00Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/weekday-sap-project-manager","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/weekday-sap-project-manager.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-09-28T02:40:02Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":1399,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":3601,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-09-29T00:00:00Z"}}}
