The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Indian accounting practices, hands-on experience with accounting software, and the ability to maintain accurate financial records while supporting efficient financial operations.\nThis role requires someone who can independently manage accounting processes, ensure compliance with applicable regulations, coordinate with auditors and consultants, and contribute to strengthening internal financial controls.\nRequirements\nKey Responsibilities\n1. Accounting and Financial Reporting\nManage daily accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL).\nHandle monthly and year-end financial closing activities.\nPerform bank reconciliations, ledger scrutiny, and preparation of Management Information System (MIS) reports.\nMonitor vendor payments, customer collections, outstanding balances, and ageing reports.\nEnsure accurate and timely maintenance of books of accounts and financial records.\nReview accounting entries and resolve discrepancies to maintain data accuracy.\n2. Taxation and Statutory Compliance\nManage GST-related activities, including invoicing and Input Tax Credit (ITC) reconciliation.\nHandle TDS calculations, deductions, payments, and quarterly and annual return filings.\nEnsure timely completion of applicable tax and statutory compliance requirements.\nCoordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and other stakeholders during audits and assessments.\nMaintain proper documentation and records for taxation and compliance purposes.\n3. Financial Controls and Revenue Management\nReconcile revenue and financial transactions across different business channels.\nEnsure adherence to internal finance policies, accounting procedures, and control mechanisms.\nIdentify financial discrepancies, investigate accounting issues, and implement appropriate resolutions.\nSupport improvements in accounting processes, reporting accuracy, and internal financial controls.\nAssist in maintaining consistency and transparency across financial records.\n4. Banking and Cash Flow Management\nManage daily banking activities, payment processing, and bank reconciliations.\nMonitor cash flow and assist with fund planning and cash flow reporting.\nMaintain accurate documentation for banking activities and financial transactions.\nSupport payment planning and ensure timely processing of financial obligations.\nRequired Skills and Qualifications\nCA Inter, B.Com, M.Com, or an equivalent qualification.\n3-5+ years of experience in accounting and finance, preferably in a startup, SaaS, or product-based organization.\nHands-on experience with Zoho accounting software.\nStrong working knowledge of MS Excel, GST, TDS, and applicable statutory compliances.\nUnderstanding of financial reporting, account reconciliations, and Indian accounting standards.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail.\nGood written and verbal communication skills.\nHigh levels of accountability, integrity, and
