You will work closely with electrical, mechanical, hardware, firmware, and manufacturing teams to ensure designs meet performance, quality, and manufacturability requirements.\nRequirements\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign and develop PCB layouts for high-speed systems involving DDR, PCIe, USB, Ethernet, and other high-frequency interfaces.\nPerform Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI) analysis to ensure optimal circuit performance.\nDefine PCB layer stack-ups and develop impedance-controlled designs for high-speed and high-density applications.\nUse simulation tools to validate signal performance, crosstalk, impedance matching, and other design parameters.\nOptimise component placement and routing to meet performance, manufacturing, and cost requirements.\nApply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Testing (DFT) principles to ensure product manufacturability and testability.\nCoordinate with fabrication and assembly teams to resolve design and production-related issues.\nPrepare detailed PCB design files, Bills of Materials (BOMs), fabrication drawings, and technical documentation.\nEnsure designs comply with relevant industry standards, including IPC-6012, ISO 9001, and applicable regulatory requirements.\nCollaborate with hardware, firmware, system engineering, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to meet project specifications.\nRequired Skills and Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field.\n3+ years of hands-on experience in PCB design, particularly high-speed digital and RF designs.\nStrong proficiency in Altium Designer for schematic capture and PCB layout.\nGood understanding of Signal Integrity (SI), Power Integrity (PI), and EMI/EMC design principles.\nExperience with high-speed interfaces such as DDR3, DDR4, DDR5, PCIe, and SerDes.\nFamiliarity with simulation tools such as HyperLynx, Ansys, or SIwave for SI/PI analysis.\nHands-on experience with impedance-controlled PCB designs and differential pair routing.\nStrong understanding of PCB fabrication, assembly, and manufacturing processes.\nGood-to-Have Skills\nExperience with rigid-flex and High-Density Interconnect (HDI) PCB designs.\nFamiliarity with defence and aerospace reliability standards.\nExposure to mechanical integration and 3D ECAD tools.\nAdditional experience with simulation tools for signal and power integrity analysis.\nSoft Skills\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.\nGood verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to organise tasks, manage priorities, and meet project deadlines.\nLeadership skills with the ability to guide, motivate, and coordinate team members.\nEffective cross-functional collaboration and active listening.\nStrong technical documentation and presentation skills.\nReporting Structure\nReports To: Project Lead - Embedded Hardware for day-to-day activities.\nCoordinates with cross-functional team leads as required.\nDelegation During Absence: Responsibilities may be delegated to the PCB Design Engineer, with relevant authorities assigned to the Project Lead -
