The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in AWS, distributed systems, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD, and Linux environments.\nThis role requires a strong engineering mindset, with a focus on building resilient, scalable, secure, and cost-efficient infrastructure. You will drive improvements in system reliability, deployment automation, observability, and operational excellence while supporting the performance and availability requirements of critical production workloads.\nRequirements\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, maintain, and optimise scalable, secure, and highly available AWS cloud infrastructure for large-scale production systems.\nDrive capacity planning, infrastructure performance tuning, resource optimisation, and cloud cost management.\nManage and optimise AWS services, including ECS, EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS, Kinesis, WAF, Systems Manager (SSM), and Secrets Manager.\nImprove production reliability, availability, resilience, and recovery capabilities across distributed systems.\nEnhance observability through monitoring, centralised logging, distributed tracing, alerting, and operational dashboards.\nStrengthen incident management, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and preventive measures for recurring production issues.\nDesign and implement infrastructure automation using Terraform, AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or similar Infrastructure as Code tools.\nDevelop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, and related automation technologies.\nImplement GitOps practices and improve deployment workflows to enable consistent, secure, and repeatable releases.\nBuild automation tools and utilities using Go, Python, or Shell scripting to reduce manual operational effort.\nTroubleshoot complex issues involving Linux production environments, networking, system internals, and distributed application architectures.\nCollaborate with engineering and platform teams to improve application scalability, infrastructure design, and deployment reliability.\nEstablish infrastructure standards, operational best practices, and reusable automation frameworks.\nDrive continuous improvements in cloud security, configuration management, operational efficiency, and engineering productivity.\nMentor engineers and provide technical guidance on DevOps, SRE, cloud infrastructure, and production engineering practices.\nWhat Makes You a Great Fit\n10+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure.\nStrong experience operating large-scale distributed production systems, preferably within established product-based or fintech organisations.\nDeep hands-on expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure and services, including compute, networking, databases, security, and monitoring.\nStrong understanding of Linux production environments, system internals, networking, and troubleshooting.\nSolid knowledge of distributed systems, asynchronous architectures, scalability, fault tolerance, and high availability.\nProficiency in Go, Python, or Shell scripting for infrastructure automation and operational tooling.\nExpertise in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or equivalent tools.\nExtensive experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and implementing GitOps practices.\nStrong understanding of monitoring, logging, tracing, alerting, and production observability.\nProven ability to drive capacity planning, performance optimisation, cloud cost control, and infrastructure reliability improvements.\nStrong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills, with the ability to resolve complex production issues.\nExcellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.\nAbility to take ownership of critical infrastructure initiatives,
