We are looking for a skilled and motivated Technical Consultant with 2-7 years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 development and customization. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in X++, D, and D365, with the ability to understand business requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and deliver scalable and reliable implementations.

You will work closely with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and development teams to design, develop, customize, integrate, and support Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions. This role requires strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of enterprise application development.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective Dynamics 365 technical solutions.
• Design, develop, customize, and maintain applications and business processes within Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Develop and modify solutions using X++, following established coding standards and development best practices.
• Work on customizations, extensions, workflows, reports, integrations, and other D365 components.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and business users to understand requirements and ensure successful solution delivery.
• Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Develop reusable and maintainable code while ensuring application performance, security, and scalability.
• Assist with system integrations and data migration activities involving Dynamics 365.
• Conduct unit testing, debugging, code reviews, and technical documentation.
• Support production environments and resolve application issues within agreed timelines.
• Stay updated with Microsoft Dynamics 365 development practices, platform updates, and emerging technologies.

Must-Have Skills

• X++ - strong hands-on development experience.
• D - practical knowledge and experience.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) - solid understanding of the platform and its development ecosystem.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software development principles.
• Experience with application customization, extensions, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of databases, data structures, and enterprise application architecture.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience as a D365 Developer.
• Knowledge of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
• Experience with D365 integrations, APIs, workflows, reporting, and data entities.
• Familiarity with Azure services and DevOps practices.
• Understanding of SQL and relational database concepts.
• Experience with version control and CI/CD processes.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 2-7 years of relevant experience in Dynamics 365 development, technical consulting, or enterprise application development.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams.
