throughout the organization.\nRequirements\nKey Responsibilities\nLegal Strategy and Leadership: Develop and implement the legal strategy in alignment with business objectives, growth plans, and risk management priorities.\nSaaS and Technology Law: Advise on legal matters related to SaaS business models, software licensing, subscription agreements, technology partnerships, service-level agreements, data protection, and intellectual property.\nIPO Readiness: Lead legal preparation for a potential initial public offering, including corporate governance, legal due diligence, documentation, disclosure requirements, and coordination with relevant advisors.\nCorporate Governance: Establish and maintain effective governance frameworks, board processes, statutory records, and corporate policies in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.\nCommercial Contracting: Draft, review, negotiate, and manage customer agreements, vendor contracts, strategic partnership agreements, and other commercial arrangements.\nRegulatory Compliance: Monitor applicable legal and regulatory developments and ensure compliance with corporate, commercial, employment, privacy, and other relevant legal requirements.\nRisk Management: Identify and assess legal and contractual risks, develop mitigation strategies, and advise leadership on potential legal exposure and business implications.\nFundraising and Corporate Transactions: Provide legal support for fundraising, mergers and acquisitions, strategic investments, corporate restructuring, and other business transactions as required.\nLitigation and Dispute Resolution: Oversee legal disputes, claims, arbitration, and litigation in collaboration with external counsel, ensuring effective risk management and resolution.\nIntellectual Property and Data Protection: Safeguard intellectual property and advise on confidentiality, data security, privacy obligations, and technology-related legal risks.\nExternal Counsel Management: Select and manage law firms, legal consultants, and other external advisors to ensure high-quality, cost-effective legal support.\nCross-Functional Partnership: Work closely with finance, HR, sales, technology, compliance, and executive leadership to integrate legal considerations into business decisions.\n Legal Process Improvement: Develop standardized contracts, policies, approval workflows, and compliance processes to improve efficiency and consistency across the organization.\nWhat Makes You a Great Fit\n12+ years of progressive legal experience, preferably in a technology, SaaS, software, or other fast-growing business environment.\nStrong knowledge of SaaS-related legal matters, including software licensing, subscription contracts, commercial negotiations, and technology partnerships.\nDemonstrated experience supporting IPO readiness, public-market preparation, corporate governance, or related capital-market transactions.\nSound understanding of corporate law, regulatory compliance, commercial law, and applicable disclosure and governance requirements.\nProven ability to advise senior executives and business leaders on complex legal, commercial, and strategic matters.\nExperience managing contract negotiations, legal due diligence, corporate transactions, and external legal counsel.\nStrong analytical, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.\nAbility to identify legal risks and develop commercially practical solutions without compromising compliance.\nExperience building scalable legal processes, policies, and governance frameworks in a growing organization.\nHigh professional integrity, sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic business
