The ideal candidates will combine technical proficiency with a solid understanding of warehouse operations, including inbound, outbound, and inventory management.\nThese roles involve designing, developing, upgrading, and supporting reusable software components for customers implementing or migrating warehouse management systems. Candidates should be comfortable working across legacy and modern WMS environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering reliable solutions that meet customer requirements.\nRequirements\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, customise, and maintain reusable software components for WMS implementations, upgrades, and migrations.\nBuild and enhance warehouse management applications using Java, JavaScript, REST APIs, XML/XSLT, Git, MS SQL, and PL/SQL.\nDevelop and support WMS customisations using MOCA commands, PageBuilder, MTF/RF forms, WMS Integrator, IFD mappings, and relevant application algorithms.\nUpgrade and maintain modifications across legacy WMS versions, including releases from 2012 through 2024.\nRapidly build working knowledge of newer WMS platforms, including CE WMS 2025 and subsequent versions, to support customer migrations.\nWork with Oracle and SQL Server databases to support application functionality, data processing, and integrations.\nApply technical and functional knowledge of inbound operations, outbound fulfilment, inventory management, and warehouse workflows.\nCollaborate with Scrum Leads and team members on requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, code reviews, and delivery of user stories.\nParticipate in sprint planning, Scrum calls, progress reviews, and status meetings, providing timely updates on tasks and dependencies.\nOwn assigned modifications and enhancements through development, testing, defect resolution, and customer UAT.\nProvide technical support, troubleshoot application issues, and deliver customer-focused solutions.\nAnalyse customisation requirements and estimate development effort for senior-level and architectural assignments.\nDesign workflows, system integrations, and technical solutions for complex WMS requirements at the Technical Architect level.\nUse Git and established development practices to maintain code quality, version control, and collaboration.\nContinuously develop technical expertise to address evolving customer and platform requirements.\nWhat Makes You a Great Fit\n5+ years of software development experience, with relevant hands-on experience in warehouse management systems.\nStrong proficiency in Java, JavaScript, Git, REST APIs, XML/XSLT, MS SQL, and PL/SQL.\nPractical experience with WMS customisation, application architecture, and integration frameworks.\nKnowledge of MOCA commands, PageBuilder, MTF/RF forms, WMS Integrator, IFD mappings, and WMS algorithms.\nStrong understanding of warehouse processes, including inbound, outbound, and inventory management.\nExperience working with Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases.\nFamiliarity with Microsoft Azure and cloud-based application environments.\nExperience with WMS upgrades, migrations, custom modifications, testing, and customer UAT.\nStrong debugging, analytical, problem-solving, and effort-estimation skills.\nAbility to work independently, manage assigned deliverables, and collaborate effectively within Agile/Scrum teams.\nExcellent communication skills and availability for scheduled project and status calls.\nExperience with GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar AI-assisted development tools is an advantage.\nFamiliarity with Jira and Agile project management workflows is desirable.\nFor Senior WMS Developers and Technical Architects, experience in customisation estimation and solution design is preferred;
