Our WEFRA LIFE INNOVATION HUB is an international team of dedicated experts in Data Analytics, IT, and Business Innovation. The Data Analytics team is distinguished by its expertise in collecting, processing, and analyzing complex data. Combining technical excellence with innovative thinking, the team drives digital transformation and progress within WEFRA LIFE and the healthcare industry.
For our office in Neu-Isenburg near Frankfurt, we are looking for a Data Scientist (f/m/d). The annual gross salary for this position starts at € 51,000, depending on qualifications and professional experience.
Your job
- Develop, train, and optimize statistical models, machine learning solutions, and AI applications.
- Analyze datasets, identify patterns, trends, and influencing factors, and derive reliable recommendations for action.
- Design forecasting, segmentation, and recommendation systems for business-relevant questions.
- Validate and evaluate analytical models and ensure their continuous improvement.
- Design and develop data-driven automation and AI solutions, for example based on large language models and generative AI.
- Prepare and structure data from various sources and engineer suitable features for analytical models.
- Advise internal stakeholders on data analytics topics and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Stay up to date with developments in Data Science, Machine Learning, and AI, bringing relevant innovations into practice.
Your profile
What is particularly important for this role:- A completed degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Informatics, Physics, or a comparable field.
- Strong knowledge of statistics, empirical data analysis, and machine learning methodologies.
- Hands-on experience using Python for data science, data preparation, and analytical modeling.
- The ability to logically analyze complex data and relationships and draw sound conclusions.
- Experience in communicating analytical findings in a clear and understandable manner and translating them into actionable recommendations.
- English language proficiency at a minimum level of C1 is required; German language skills at B1 level are desirable.
A plus, but by no means a requirement:
- Advanced knowledge of Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or Analytics gained through academic studies, professional training, or certifications.
- Experience with cloud-based or analytics platforms.
- Knowledge of Data Engineering, MLOps, or software development.
- Experience with Generative AI, Prompt Engineering, or Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
- Experience with data-driven business models, marketing analytics, or related application areas.
