The annual gross salary for this position starts at € 51,000, depending on qualifications and professional experience.\nYour job\nDevelop, train, and optimize statistical models, machine learning solutions, and AI applications.\nAnalyze datasets, identify patterns, trends, and influencing factors, and derive reliable recommendations for action.\nDesign forecasting, segmentation, and recommendation systems for business-relevant questions.\nValidate and evaluate analytical models and ensure their continuous improvement.\nDesign and develop data-driven automation and AI solutions, for example based on large language models and generative AI.\nPrepare and structure data from various sources and engineer suitable features for analytical models.\nAdvise internal stakeholders on data analytics topics and translate business requirements into technical solutions.\nStay up to date with developments in Data Science, Machine Learning, and AI, bringing relevant innovations into practice.\nYour profile\n What is particularly important for this role:A completed degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Informatics, Physics, or a comparable field.\nStrong knowledge of statistics, empirical data analysis, and machine learning methodologies.\nHands-on experience using Python for data science, data preparation, and analytical modeling.\nThe ability to logically analyze complex data and relationships and draw sound conclusions.\nExperience in communicating analytical findings in a clear and understandable manner and translating them into actionable recommendations.\nEnglish language proficiency at a minimum level of C1 is required; German language skills at B1 level are desirable.\nA plus, but by no means a requirement:\nAdvanced knowledge of Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or Analytics gained through academic studies, professional training, or certifications.\nExperience with cloud-based or analytics platforms.\nKnowledge of Data Engineering, MLOps, or software development.\nExperience with Generative AI, Prompt Engineering, or Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).\nExperience with data-driven business models, marketing analytics, or related application areas.\nYour application\nConvinced that we're a great match?
