Job Description:
Note: Applicants should be flexible and available to work in at leastthree of the following locations: Corning, Elmira, Hornell, Johnson City, and/or Ithaca.
As a trainee, you'll participate in a 1-2 year accelerated leadership program, gaining hands-on experience with products, customers, and team members while learning Wegmans values, operations, and business practices. Designed to prepare you for a Department Manager role, this program offers a strong foundation for a rewarding leadership career with opportunities for growth.
What You'll Do
- Complete a 1-2 year leadership training program through hands-on experience, seminars, and regular coaching sessions
Work directly with products, customers, and team members to learn all aspects of department leadership
Develop skills in people leadership, team building, merchandising, sales growth, and profitability
Partner with Department Managers, trainers, and coaches to receive feedback and support your professional growth
Requirements
