This position is responsible for supervising field operations, coordinating installations and modifications, managing transit stop data and asset records, and ensuring all stops are maintained in a safe, clean, accessible, and state-of-good-repair condition in accordance with WeGo Transit Stop Guidelines and ADA requirements.\nThe Transit Stop Supervisor serves as the primary point of coordination for transit stop activities, including service changes, asset tracking, customer complaints, signage production, and advertising media. This role directly supervises union personnel, manages work assignments, and ensures accurate documentation and performance tracking through asset and work management systems.\nEssential Job Functions\nTransit Stop Operations & Field Supervision\nSupervise daily operations related to transit stops and associated amenities, ensuring compliance with agency standards for safety, cleanliness, accessibility, and customer experience.\nCoordinate and oversee the installation, modification, repair, and removal of transit stop amenities, including shelters, benches, trash receptacles, signage, decals, and advertising media.\nDevelop daily and weekly work assignments and schedules for field crews based on operational priorities.\nConduct routine inspections and condition assessments to identify deficiencies, safety hazards, and state-of-good-repair needs.\nEnsure preventive maintenance and corrective repairs are completed in a timely and compliant manner.\nCoordinate with contractors, utilities, property owners, and government agencies to support transit stop projects and improvements.\nEnsure all work complies with ADA requirements, safety regulations, and WeGo Transit Stop Guidelines.\nTransit Stop Sign Shop & Signage Operations\nOversee and coordinate operations of the Transit Stop Sign Shop.\nUpdate signage and decal processes related to service changes, construction activity, and detours.\nPrint, laminate, and prepare bus stop decals for field installation.\nMonitor sign shop inventory, including signposts, hardware, and materials.\nData, Asset Management & GIS Coordination\nOversee and manage transit stop data within EAM, Esri/GIS, and agency asset and work management platforms, ensuring accurate recordkeeping, system coordination, and reliable data to support service planning, maintenance activities, performance tracking, and compliance requirements.\nEnsure accurate cataloging of all transit stop amenities through field data collection and quality assurance checks.\nMaintain accurate records for preventive maintenance, service requests, resident requests, expenditures, and work in progress.\nMaintain GIS accuracy for transit stop assets, including WeGo Bus Stop New Sign Installation and NMTA Bus Stop Asset dashboards.\nUtilize asset management software to develop, schedule, and track preventive maintenance activities.\nCompile and report monthly operational data, performance metrics, and statistics.\nAct as liaison with internal departments to ensure timely communication and execution of transit stop changes.\nCustomer Complaints, ADA & Compliance\nInvestigate and resolve customer complaints related to transit stops, including Trapeze COM issues.\nAssist with implementation and tracking of the ADA Transition Plan as it relates to transit stops.\nTrack ADA-compliant stops and maintain accurate ADA records within EAM and Esri/GIS and related systems.\nSupport audits, reporting, and documentation related to ADA compliance and accessibility improvements.\nSupervision, Labor Relations & Safety\nSupervise and direct assigned union, ensuring work assignments are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.\nMonitor employee performance, attendance, and productivity.\nLead, train, coach, and mentor employees in a positive and professional manner.\nPromote and enforce safe work practices and a safety-first culture.\nAddress performance issues and initiate disciplinary action in accordance with agency policies and collective bargaining agreements.\nHandle Step 1 grievances and maintain communication with union representatives, escalating issues as required.\nEnsure compliance with labor agreements, agency policies, and equal employment opportunity requirements.\nPerforms Other Duties as Assigned\nThe duties listed above describe the essential functions of this position. organization.\nMust possess a valid Tennessee Driver’s License.\nRecommended Preparation for Employment\nEducation:\nTechnical, GIS, or supervisory training preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, including experience with GIS applications, transit asset management, ADA accessibility requirements, safety and compliance programs, and supervisory practices within a public-sector or unionized workforce.\nExperience:\nMinimum of five (5) years of experience in transit stop operations, asset coordination, facilities maintenance, or similar operational or infrastructure-related work.\nAt least two (2) years of experience supervising staff, preferably within a unionized or public-sector environment, or comparable leadership experience.\nExperience using asset management systems, GIS platforms, inventory control systems, work order tracking tools, or similar enterprise or operational systems.\nWorking knowledge of ADA requirements, applicable safety regulations, and customer service standards, or experience applying comparable accessibility and compliance requirements.\nExperience coordinating service changes, capital or operational projects, and
