As part of the Wego Group, we're combining deep travel expertise with AI-first product development to redefine how businesses travel.\nThe Role\nWe're looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to help build the frontend platform that powers WegoPro. You'll work on a sophisticated, data-rich product used every day by travel managers, finance teams, and business travellers around the world.\nThis is a hands-on senior engineering role with significant technical ownership. You'll shape our frontend architecture, establish engineering standards, mentor other developers, and build AI-powered experiences that make complex workflows feel intuitive.\nWhat You'll Do\nOwn the architecture and evolution of our frontend platform, including our design system, application state, routing, build tooling, and performance.\n\nBuild scalable frontend systems on top of a microservices architecture, designing resilient API integrations, caching strategies, and graceful fallbacks when services fail.\n\nDevelop AI-powered product experiences, including conversational booking, agentic workflows, and streaming interfaces that make AI interactions feel reliable and trustworthy.\n\nDrive adoption of AI-assisted software development, helping define best practices for using tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex across the engineering team.\n\nLead technical design discussions, perform thoughtful code reviews, and mentor engineers to raise the quality of the team's work.\n\nTake ownership of software quality from development through production, including automated testing, observability, CI/CD, and operational excellence on AWS.\n\nPartner closely with Product, Design, and Backend Engineering to deliver intuitive, performant user experiences.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nSignificant experience building modern web applications, with deep expertise developing complex, stateful single-page applications.\n\nExpert knowledge of Vue 3, including the Composition API, Pinia, Nuxt, and a strong understanding of Vue's reactivity model.\n\nStrong TypeScript skills and experience with modern frontend tooling, including Vite, code splitting, performance optimisation, and Core Web Vitals.\n\nExcellent frontend engineering fundamentals, with a passion for building polished, accessible, responsive user interfaces.\n\nDaily experience using AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex, with sound judgement about where they accelerate development and where they don't.\n\nFamiliarity with modern AI application development, including MCP, agent frameworks, context engineering, evaluation frameworks, and shipping user-facing AI features.\n\nPractical experience with AWS services including S3, CloudFront, Lambda, ECS, CI/CD pipelines, and feature flagging.\n\nStrong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a bias for ownership, delivery, and continuous improvement.\n\nNice to Have\nExperience building products in business travel, fintech, or B2B SaaS.\n\nExperience with micro-frontend architectures.\n\nExperience building or maintaining design systems.\n\nContributions to open-source projects in the Vue or AI tooling ecosystem.\n\nWhy Join WegoPro?\nAt WegoPro, you'll solve meaningful engineering challenges spanning global travel inventory, multi-currency pricing, enterprise policy engines, and large-scale integrations.
