The IT Specialist Level 2 will be responsible for maintaining the organization's technology infrastructure, providing technical support to employees, managing hardware and software deployments, and ensuring the security and reliability of our IT systems. This position requires excellent troubleshooting skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.\nKey Responsibilities\nProvide first- and second-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment. \nInstall, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows workstations and common business applications. \nManage user accounts, permissions, and security groups within Microsoft 365 and Active Directory. \nConfigure and support email, Microsoft Office applications, Teams, and SharePoint. \nMaintain network equipment, including switches, wireless access points, VPN connectivity, and firewalls. \nInstall and maintain computer hardware, monitors, docking stations, and other office technology. \nPerform routine system maintenance, software updates, and patch management. \nMonitor system performance and respond to outages or technical issues. \nMaintain inventory of IT equipment, software licenses, and technology assets. \nAssist with cybersecurity initiatives, including endpoint protection, phishing awareness, and security best practices. \nCreate and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and knowledge base articles. \nCoordinate with third-party vendors for hardware repairs, software support, and technology projects. \nSupport onboarding and offboarding of employees by provisioning and decommissioning user accounts and equipment. \nParticipate in technology projects, system upgrades, and office relocations as needed. \n\nSkills Knowledge and Expertise\n Required:\nAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. \n3+ years of hands-on IT support experience. \nExperience supporting Microsoft Windows operating systems. \nExperience administering Microsoft 365. \nWorking knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP networking. \nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. \nExcellent written and verbal communication skills. \nAbility to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. \nValid driver's license and reliable transportation (if travel between office locations is required). \n\n Preferred:\nExperience supporting accounting or professional services firms. \nFamiliarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V. \nExperience with backup and disaster recovery solutions. \nKnowledge of cybersecurity best practices and endpoint management. \nExperience with VoIP phone systems. \nMicrosoft, CompTIA (A+,
