Our low-volume, high-complexity manufacturing environment gives you a unique opportunity to influence products throughout their lifecycle, from early development to stable production.\nAs part of our Production Engineering & QA team, you will play a key role in ensuring our products can be tested efficiently and manufactured to the highest quality standards.\nTechnical anchor and world class expertise\nIn this role, you will have the opportunity to combine hands-on engineering with process optimization. You will work on everything from developing automated test solutions and solving production challenges to supporting new product introductions and collaborating with suppliers. Your expertise will contribute directly to product quality, manufacturing efficiency, and the successful scaling of innovative technologies into production\nYour primary responsibilities include:\nDevelop, maintain, and optimize production test solutions for electronic assemblies and modules.\nDesign and implement automated test equipment, software, and processes.\nContribute to Design for Test (DFT) and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) activities.\nSupport New Product Introduction (NPI) and transfer of new products into production.\nTroubleshoot test equipment and manufacturing issues in collaboration with Production and R&D.\nPerform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve quality and production stability.\nProvide technical support to Procurement and Production, including supplier collaboration, technical evaluations, and issue resolution.\nCreate and maintain test specifications, work instructions, and technical reports.\nDrive continuous improvements in manufacturing processes, test coverage, and production efficiency.\nYour Profile\nWe expect that you have an engineering degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.\nIn addition, you can recognize yourself in several of the following:\nHave experience developing automated test systems and production test solutions.\nHave experience with LabVIEW, TestStand, Python, or similar technologies.\nPossess strong troubleshooting and debugging skills within electronics and test environments.\nHave a solid understanding of electronics, instrumentation, and hardware/software integration.\nAre familiar with manufacturing processes, DFT, DFM, and continuous improvement methodologies.\nEnjoy collaborating across engineering, production, quality, and supply chain functions.\nCommunicate fluently in English, both written and spoken.\nYour new team\nWhen you join Weibel, you become part of a strong Production organization of 200 skilled colleagues working across purchasing, planning, warehouse operations, electronics and mechanical production, and radar assembly.\nYou will join a skilled Production Engineering team that work on close collaboration with R&D, Production and Quality.
