Highly skilled and knowledgeable Administrative Staff assist our attorneys in successfully meeting and exceeding client needs and are vital to the overall success of the Firm.\nJob Description\nThe Technology Trainer designs and delivers technology training for attorneys and legal staff, supporting firmwide software rollouts and building learning materials that help end users work efficiently with the firm's technology platforms.Primary Responsibilities and/or Essential functions:\nDesign, develop, and deliver technology training programs for attorneys and legal support staff, including instructor-led (in-person/virtual) and self-paced e-learning content\nSupport firmwide rollouts of new legal technology platforms (e.g., document management, e-billing, Copilot/AI tools, practice management systems)\nCreate job aids, quick reference guides, videos, and other learning materials\nPartner with IS (Information Systems), Knowledge Management, and practice groups to identify training needs and close skill gaps\nTrack training attendance, completion, and effectiveness; report metrics to leadership\nProvide floor support and one-on-one coaching following major rollouts or upgrades\nStay current on emerging legal technology and AI tools to keep curriculum relevant\nAssist with new hire technology onboarding\nAny additional responsibilities as required by management\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:\n3+ years in technology training, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment\nStrong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Copilot), Claude, Chat GPT and common legal applications (iManage, Intapp, Litera, etc.)\nExcellent presentation, facilitation, and public speaking skills\nStrong instructional design skills ADDIE ( Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) or similar framework\nAbility to translate technical concepts for non-technical, time-constrained attorney audiences\nProficient with e-learning authoring tools and LMS platforms, - Camtasia etc…\nStrong written communication skills for job aids and documentation\nAbility to manage multiple concurrent projects/rollouts under deadline pressure\nEducation/Certifications:\nBachelor’s degree preferred\nEstimated salary range is $105,000 - $120,000. This position is bonus eligible. Compensation decisions within the range are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case including but not limited to the individual's skills, experience, and qualifications.\nWeil, Gotshal & Manges LLP offers a competitive compensation package comprised of base pay and discretionary year-end bonus for eligible employees.
