You’ll work with purpose, learn every day and help shape a more sustainable future.\nWhat you’ll do\nSales & Marketing Management: Lead sales and marketing activities for OE and Aftermarket business in the Western Region (Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa), driving business growth and meeting company KPIs.\nCustomer Engagement: Conduct regular visits and techno-commercial discussions with customers to understand their needs, provide technical support, and close orders successfully.\nBusiness Development: Identify new markets, trends, and business opportunities to expand Weir’s presence and revenue in the region.\nPerformance Monitoring: Provide weekly updates on new business opportunities, customer feedback, and sales progress to internal teams for strategic alignment.\nReceivables & Dealer Management: Manage receivables efficiently and maintain strong relationships with dealers to ensure smooth operations.\nCross-functional Coordination: Collaborate with regional, engineering, operations, and supply chain teams to meet customer requirements and deliver solutions.\nTravel Requirements: Regular travel within the Western Region to meet customers and support sales activities.\nSafety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.\nWhat you’ll bring\nMust-haves:\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mineral Processing Engineering, or equivalent.\n2-4 years of relevant sales experience in pumps, slurry pumps, mineral processing, mining, or industrial equipment.\nStrong customer-facing skills with experience in techno-commercial discussions and business development.\nProven ability to achieve sales targets and manage receivables effectively.\nNice-to-haves:\nExperience working in the Western Region market (Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa).\nKnowledge of slurry pumps and mineral processing products.\nFamiliarity with dealer management and sales promotional activities.\nExposure to lean and safety practices within industrial environments.\nWhy join Weir?\nWe live our values we think safety first, do the right thing, respect each other, aim high, and delight our customers.
