You’ll work with purpose, learn every day and help shape a more sustainable future.\nWhat you’ll do\n⦿ Core Production: Operate coremaking equipment daily to produce cores using sand, binders, and magnetite for earth-moving equipment attachments, ensuring adherence to production schedules and specifications.\n⦿ Equipment Calibration: Calibrate core machines to specific ranges to maintain precision and quality in core production.\n⦿ Quality Assurance: Inspect cores for defects and confirm that all cores meet required specifications to ensure product reliability and customer satisfaction.\n⦿ Maintenance and Cleanliness: Clean and maintain coremaking equipment and work area, including completing 6S and cleanup activities at the end of each shift to support operational efficiency.\n⦿ Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.\nWhat you’ll bring\nMust-haves:\n⦿ High School Diploma or GED.\n⦿ Commitment to workplace safety and zero harm principles.\nNice-to-haves:\n⦿ Previous experience in a manufacturing or foundry environment.\n⦿ Familiarity with 6S or similar workplace organization methodologies.\n⦿ Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.\nWhy join Weir?\nWe live our values we think safety first, do the right thing, respect each other, aim high, and delight our customers.
