You’ll work with purpose, learn every day and help shape a more sustainable future.\nWhat you’ll do\nMaster Data Management: Manage and execute master data creation and maintenance processes to ensure proper functioning structures aligned with official SAP processes and Weir Minerals’ needs.\nCustomer Support: Support MDM’s internal customers by providing expert guidance and resolving master data issues.\nKnowledge Sharing & Training: Assist the Master Data team by sharing knowledge and providing training to meet Weir Minerals' expanding needs regarding Master Data.\nProcess Improvement: Contribute to improving Master Data Department processes, including conceiving and managing your own improvement projects to enhance efficiency and accuracy.\nData Analysis & Solutions: Analyze issues and provide solutions to cross-functional teams, ensuring data integrity and operational excellence.\nAutomation & Reporting: Contribute to automating tasks and maintain daily reports in Power BI to support data-driven decision-making.\nCollaboration: Attend daily cross-functional meetings to align on priorities and progress.\nTravel Requirements: Minimal travel expected; primarily onsite presence required to ensure effective collaboration and knowledge transfer.\nSafety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.\nWhat you’ll bring\nMust-haves:\nDegree in Mechanical Engineering.\nMinimum 4 years’ experience in SAP Master Data Management (MDM) or a similar role within manufacturing, procurement, planning, or process engineering environments.\nStrong proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel skills.\nSolid understanding of Mechanical Engineering concepts and manufacturing processes.\nNice-to-haves:\nExperience with Glasswing (formerly it.MDS).\nFamiliarity with Power BI and Power Automate.\nExposure to master data management in a manufacturing or distribution network.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.\nWhy join Weir?\nWe live our values we think safety first, do the right thing, respect each other, aim high, and delight our customers.
