We believe in fairness and choose to be honest, transparent and authentic in everything we do.\nKey Responsibilities:\nPrepare Product: Prepare pipes and hoses for application of rubber lining by rolling or painting interior surfaces after the sandblasting operation has been completed\n\nRubber Lining: Apply rubber to interior surfaces by following instructions, drawings and sketches provided\n\nOversee Autoclaves: Operate and monitor the Autoclave for the rubber curing process. Complete and maintain all records including autoclave logs, charts, material movements, and material consumptions to the jobs and provide reports as required\n\nRead Blueprint Drawings: Use a layout table to lay out rubber components according to the specified drawings that will dictate tolerances on a blueprint drawing\n\nMaterial Handling: Loading, unloading, and handling of material within the facility as required (mechanical & manually handling)\n\nSafety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.\n\nJob Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:\nClass 5 Power Engineering certificate required\n\nExperience in a hands on, manual labor type role\n\nBasic knowledge of hand and measuring tools\n\nThorough knowledge of reading and understanding blueprints\n\nCompensation - $36.51/hr +\nBenefits:\n⦿ Excellent Health / Dental / Vision Options\n⦿ RRSP contributions\n⦿ 15 days Paid Time Off in first year\n⦿ Paid Statutory Holidays\nThis posting is for an existing vacancy.\nFounded in 1871, Weir is a world leading engineering business with a purpose to make mining operations smarter, more efficient and sustainable.
