You’ll work with purpose, learn every day and help shape a more sustainable future.\nWhat you’ll do\nMaterial Master Management: Review, process, and manage requests for new material creation, extension, and maintenance within SAP. Ensure all requests are complete, accurate, and validated before updating the system.\nCross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing, and other stakeholders to gather and clarify Material Master data, ensuring alignment and accuracy.\nData Quality & Analysis: Conduct SAP data-health checks, investigate and resolve data issues, and analyze large datasets using Excel and Power BI to support data integrity and reporting needs.\nProcess Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline material creation and maintenance processes, reduce cycle times, and support faster speed to market. Collaborate with global SAP teams on process enhancements and system developments.\nDocumentation & Training: Prepare, review, and maintain standard operating procedures, process documents, and training materials to support consistent and efficient operations.\nOperational Support: Respond constructively to occasional urgent business requests and support data migration, reporting, and analytical assignments as required.\nShift & Travel: Work primarily remotely during the Canada-support shift (4:00 pm to 1:00 am IST) with limited flexibility. Occasional office attendance may be required based on business needs. Travel requirements are minimal.\nSafety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.\nWhat you’ll bring\nMust-haves:\nBachelor’s degree in a technical or commercial discipline with 2-4 years of hands-on SAP Material Master experience including material creation, extension, and maintenance.\nStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel with experience analyzing large datasets.\nExperience working in manufacturing, engineering, industrial, or similar operational environments.\nAbility and willingness to work the Canada-support shift (4:00 pm to 1:00 am IST) primarily remote.\nNice-to-haves:\nExperience with Power BI reporting and dashboard creation.\nAdvanced Excel skills such as PivotTables, Power Query, and Macros.\nKnowledge of data migration, ETL processes, and Python programming.\nExposure to material costing, MRP parameter maintenance, source lists, and purchasing info records.\nExperience preparing process documentation, training materials, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.\nExperience collaborating with global SAP teams or international stakeholders.\nWhy join Weir?\nWe live our values we think safety first, do the right thing, respect each other, aim high, and delight our customers.
