We believe in fairness and choose to be honest, transparent and authentic in everything we do.\nKey Responsibilities:\nSafety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.\nLead and manage all service centre activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimization.\nMaintain strong relationships with mining customers, ensuring timely and effective service delivery.\nSupervise and develop service center staff, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and performance.\nManage budgets, cost control, and profitability of the service centre as well as oversee inventory of parts and materials to support service operations.\nSkills, Experience, and Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.\nMinimum 5-7 years in service center or workshop management within mining or heavy industrial sectors.\nProven experience in rubber lining, mechanical services, and pump rebuild operations (desirable)\nStrong leadership and team management capabilities.\nProficiency in ERP systems (SAP) and MS Office Suite.\nFounded in 1871, Weir is a world leading engineering business with a purpose to make mining operations smarter, more efficient and sustainable.
