As wemoderniseour enterprise applications across SAP and complementary systems such as Salesforce, Workday and Coupa, data and AI are fundamental to unlocking the full value of this transformation.\nThe Transformation Data & AI Architect is a senior leadership role within the S4+ Programme, responsible for defining,governingand delivering the end-to-end Data & AI architecture. We believe in fairness and choose to be honest, transparent and authentic in everything we do.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDefine and own the target Data & AI architecture across SAP BTP, Datasphere, Data Intelligence, MDG, SLT, BW/4HANA (where relevant), and non-SAP platforms.\nEstablishdata and AI principles aligned to Weir’s enterprise governance and Clean Core standards.\nPartner with Manufacturing, Supply Chain,Procurementand other domains to ensure data supports end-to-end value streams.\nLead the architecture runway, publish ADRs and govern adherence across all partners.\nLead the data migration architecture including profiling, cleansing,harmonisation, enrichment,cutoverand reconciliation.\nEnsure ≥98% critical master and transactional data accuracy at go-live.\nDefine integration patterns between S/4 and ecosystem applications (APIs, events, SLT/CDC, iPaaS/BTP).\nPrioritiseAI use cases (forecasting, ATPoptimisation, document AI, anomaly detection).\nDefine ML data contracts and embed models in operational processes (Fiori, SAC).\nEstablishMLOpsfoundations: pipelines, CI/CD, monitoring, retraining, drift.\nChair the Data & AI Design Authority, driving alignment across internal teams and multiple SI/vendor partners.\nGovern architectural artefacts, design standards,roadmapsand patterns.\nIdentifyand manage architectural risks,dependenciesand technical debt. Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:\nProven experience as a Data Architect on complex SAP S/4HANA transformationprogrammes.\nDeep knowledge of SAP master and transactional data structures and S/4 semantics.\nStrong experience in data migration, dataqualityandharmonisation.\nExperience designing integration architectures across multi-system landscapes.\nFamiliarity with Clean Core principles and upgrade-safe architecture.\nExperience working with and orchestrating multiple SI and vendor partners.\nExposure toSAP MDG, BTP, Datasphere, Data Intelligence.\nUnderstanding ofenterprise AI capabilities across SAP, Salesforce, Workday.\nStrong leadership,communicationand stakeholder management skills.\nFounded in 1871, Weir is a world leading engineering business with a purpose to make mining operations smarter, more efficient and sustainable.
