You will have the opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute to meaningful work that supports a more sustainable future.\nWhat You'll Do\nInventory Management: Identify, sort, label, document, and organize urethane molds and cores to maintain an accurate and efficient inventory system. This is a hands-on role that requires working directly with inventory in a manufacturing environment.\nInventory Lifecycle Decisions: Review sales history and usage data to recommend when molds and cores should be retained, stored, or retired.\nCross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Production, Planning, Shop Leadership, and Operations teams to ensure smooth workflow and inventory accuracy.\nDocumentation & Recordkeeping: Maintain records, spreadsheets, databases, and operational documentation related to molds, cores, and inventory processes.\nOperational Support: Assist the Operations Supervisor with daily activities and contribute ideas to improve efficiency and workflow.\nQuality Support: Help ensure molds and related inventory meet quality standards and support consistent product builds.\nSafety First: Demonstrate a strong commitment to Weir's Zero Harm safety culture and follow all safety procedures.\nPhysical & Environmental Readiness: Work in a manufacturing/shop environment where molds may be dirty, dusty, sticky, or heavy. Use cranes and forklifts safely and effectively after training.\nWhat You'll Bring\nRequired Qualifications\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.\nMinimum of 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, machine shop, or inventory-related environment.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications.\nAbility to read and interpret blueprints/drawings.\nAbility to accurately use a tape measure and understand fractions and measurements.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or machine shop environments.\nFamiliarity with micrometers and calipers.\nBasic computer skills, including data entry and inventory software.\nForklift and crane experience, or willingness to complete company-provided training and certification.\nWhy Join Weir?\nAt Weir, we live our values every day: putting safety first, doing the right thing, respecting each other, aiming high, and delighting our customers.
