We believe our employees to be our most valuable asset, and we are committed to growing a diverse and inclusive culture that inspires, motivates, and continuously improves.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nParticipate in the creation of the project safety plan\nTrack and trend project safety performance (site safety inspection results, injury rates, safety violations, etc.) and recommend corrective/preventative measures for project team implementation\nVerify project team adherence to company safety management processes\nAssist project teams with enforcement of safety programs, which may involve drafting letters, issuing safety violations, and meeting with managers\nFacilitate project safety committees\nActively participate in safety preconstruction meetings and pre-task safety planning\nConduct or facilitate project-wide safety training\nSupport project teams with applicable regulatory safety compliance\nFacilitate project safety inspections and verify adequacy of project team corrective actions\nEnsure any employee has the authority to stop work they feel is unsafe until the issue(s) can be resolved\nVerification of project team incident investigations and “How It Happened” reports for completeness and accuracy\nAssemble and maintain site safety documentation (hot work permits, GFCI inspections, confined space permits, excavation permits, etc.)\nPerform project industrial hygiene assessments (noise monitoring, air monitoring, etc)\nCoordinate and communicate site safety activities regularly with the Project Manager\nActively participate in project safety regulatory compliance audits (OSHA inspections, etc)\nEncourage innovative thinking by the project team to increase the safety awareness of the project\nWhat We’re Looking For:\nExperience:5+ years of construction safety experience required\nOSHA 30 certification preferred\n\nSkills:Excellent judgement and problem-solving skills\nAbility to build positive relationships across the organization and provide conflict resolution and coaching to the team\nComfortable speaking in front of a variety of audiences of various sizes\nAbility to resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner\nDetail-oriented and highly organized\nHigh level of initiative\nExcellent verbal and written communication\n\nTechnology:\nProficient in basic computer software including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook\nAbility to learn specific job-related software upon hire\n\nWhat We Offer:\nCompetitive Pay\nRewarding Bonus Program\nComprehensive Benefits Package with Tax-Advantaged HSA and FSA offerings\nEmployer-Paid Short- and Long-Term Disability Programs\nEmployer-Paid Life Insurance\nGenerous Paid Time Off Provisions\n401K Retirement Savings Plan with Company Match\nTuition Reimbursement\nFully Paid Parental Leave\nVoluntary Products Including: Critical Illness Insurance and Accident Insurance\nCorporate Wellness Program with Wellness Time Off and Rewards\nVisa sponsorship is not available for this position at this time.\nThe Company does not accept unsolicited resumes from search firms or agencies.
