The Warehouse Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient delivery of construction materials, equipment, and tools to project sites and customers. This position plays an important role in supporting field operations by ensuring equipment and materials arrive when needed while maintaining a high level of customer service and professionalism.\nThe ideal candidate is organized, dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a warehouse and construction environment. A valid driver’s license and good driving record are required. Our employees play a direct role in shaping solutions, driving efficiency, and delivering real value on every project.\nWhat You’ll Do\nSafely and efficiently deliver a variety of construction materials, equipment, tools, and supplies to project sites and customer locations\nPlan and complete delivery routes in a timely and cost-effective manner\nComply with all applicable DOT regulations, including trailer weight and load restrictions, vehicle inspections, and equipment maintenance requirements\nEnsure equipment and tools are delivered to project sites when needed to support productivity and project schedules\nOperate forklifts and other equipment to safely load, unload, move, and organize materials and equipment\nObtain and maintain required equipment certifications\nInspect vehicles, trailers, tools, and equipment and report maintenance or safety concerns as needed\nPerform basic maintenance and upkeep on small equipment\nAssist with warehouse operations, including organizing, staging, loading, and unloading materials and equipment\nMaintain accurate delivery and equipment records using company systems and software\nProvide professional and courteous service to project teams, customers, vendors, and other company personnel\nWhat We’re Looking For:\nExperience:High school diploma or equivalent required\nForklift certification required, or willingness to obtain certification upon hire\nPrevious experience as a delivery driver, warehouse associate, or in a similar logistics-related position required\nExperience working in a construction, equipment rental, or industrial environment is a plus\nPrevious experience performing basic maintenance on small equipment\n\nSkills:\nHigh attention to detail and a commitment to safety\nExcellent organizational and time-management skills\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\nAbility to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment\nStrong problem-solving and decision-making skills\nAbility to work independently while also collaborating effectively with project and warehouse teams\nFlexibility and willingness to assist with a variety of warehouse, delivery, and equipment-related responsibilities\nProfessional and positive attitude with strong customer and relationship-building skills\nAbility to safely operate vehicles, trailers, forklifts, and other equipment as required\n\nTechnology:\nBasic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.\nAbility and willingness to learn company-specific software and systems, including Workday, Procore, Bluebeam, warehouse management software, and other technology platforms.\n\nAdditional Requirements:Ability to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds\nValid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record required\nSuccessful completion of a motor vehicle records check required\nSuccessful completion of a pre-employment physical and drug/alcohol screening required\n\nVisa sponsorship is not available for this position at this time.\nThe Weitz Company, LLC (and its U.S.-based subsidiaries and affiliates) recognizes the value of and is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse and inclusive workforce.
