Our ideal candidate is passionate about creating high quality products with minimal supervision. Accuracy and precision are essential to success in this role. If you have a talent for utilizing industrial tools safely and efficiently, this is the position for you!\nResponsibilities\nUtilize Welker's ERP system to understand and execute work order instructions\nUse an industrial pressure spray gun; apply epoxy and sandblast as needed\nConstruct fiberglass cases\nOperate a forklift to move heavy parts to designated areas - certification will be provided\nThese are some of the more frequent tasks you could expect to perform during your workday, but you may be called upon to fulfill other duties as needed.\nKey Skills\nCommunication: Interact with peers, team leads, and managers in a kind, positive, and professional manner, because good communication is essential for a successful day\nTechnical Aptitude: Adept with interpreting machine drawings, routers, and bill of materials\nWork Ethic: Production focused with a highly developed sense of urgency and prioritization; ability to handle multiple complex tasks within tight deadline parameters\nAttention to Detail: Make a conscious effort to focus on quality and safety; ensure specifications are met and use good judgment to determine workflow sequences\nThe Welker team is a diverse and motivated group. These key skills keep our Assembly department running smoothly.\nQualifications\nAbility to meet the physical requirements of the role - working on your feet for up to 90% of the day in an area that is not climate controlled\nAbility to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs\nHigh School diploma or equivalent; supplemented with technical courses in a related field preferred\nExperience with painting, fiberglass, and sandblasting is a plus\nDoes this sound like you?
