You will report to the Exhibition Project Management & Design Lead.\nWhat will I be doing?\nIn this role, you will manage the delivery of complex and experimental exhibitions, projects, commissioned artworks and installations. You will ensure that design, production and installation of objects and interpretation are of a high standard, accessible and environmentally sustainable.\nYou will work collaboratively with curators, registrars, artists, designers and colleagues across Wellcome Collection to develop engaging exhibition experiences. From concept through to delivery, you will evaluate project needs, manage resources and identify the expertise required to achieve project objectives.\nIs this job for me?\nWe are looking for someone who can:\nBuild strong relationships, and work in an open and collaborative way with multiple project consultants, contractors and stakeholders\nWork with artists and curators to develop new commissions\nCommission exhibition design and fabrication, steering projects to be environmentally responsible, accessible and fit for purpose\nContribute to a diverse and inclusive culture across the organisation, collaborating across departments.\nTo apply for this role please submit an updated CV and answer 2 application questions to demonstrate that you meet the minimum requirements for the role.\nMinimum Criteria:\nSignificant experience managing the planning, production and installation of large-scale temporary exhibitions in a museum, gallery or comparable cultural environment.\nProven ability to manage complex projects, including budgets, schedules, resources, risks and competing priorities.\nExperience of working with artists to realise commissioned artworks.\nExperience of design commissioning; managing exhibition designers, contractors, fabricators and technical suppliers to make accessible and environmentally accessible exhibitions.\nUnderstanding of the conservation and care requirements of working with museum objects and artworks.\nApplications Questions:\nUsing examples please provide evidence to demonstrate that you meet the minimum criteria for this role as outlined in the job description?
