The analyst will work closely with business, technology, operations, and data governance teams to deliver reliable, well-controlled, and business-aligned data solutions.\nIn this role, you will:\nParticipate in less complex analysis to identify and remediate data quality or integrity issues and to identify and remediate process or control gaps\nAdhere to data governance standards and procedures\nIdentify data quality metrics and execute data quality audits to benchmark the state of data quality\nDesign and monitor data governance, data quality and metadata policies, standards, tools, processes, or procedures to ensure data control and remediation for companywide data management functions\nSupport communications with basic documentation related to requirements, design decisions, issue closure, or remediation updates\nSupport issue remediation by performing medium risk data profiling, data or business analysis, and data mapping as part of root cause or impact analysis\nProvide support to regulatory analysis and reporting requirements\nRecommend plans for the development and implementation of initiatives that assess the quality of new data sources\nWork with business and technology partners or subject matter professionals to document or maintain business or technical metadata about systems, business or data elements, or data-related controls\nConsult with clients to assess the current state of data quality within area of assigned responsibility\nRequired Qualifications:\n2+ years of Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education\nGather, analyze, and document business and data requirements.\nTranslate requirements into user stories, process flows, data mappings, and acceptance criteria.\nDevelop an understanding of CIB products, trade lifecycle, positions, and related data flows.\nPerform data analysis, profiling, validation, and reconciliation to identify data quality issues.\nSupport investigation and remediation of data defects, control gaps, and production issues.\nCoordinate with business, technology, operations, and governance stakeholders throughout delivery.\nSupport Agile ceremonies, backlog refinement, testing, implementation, and post-production validation.\nMaintain clear documentation covering data definitions, lineage, mappings, controls, and business rules.\nAssess new data sources for suitability, completeness, quality, and business use.\nTrack risks, dependencies, issues, and action items, and escalate them appropriately.\nContribute to the modernization of CIB data platforms and integration with the CIB Data Marketplace.\nDesired Qualifications:\nUniversity degree in Business / Engineering or related discipline.\n2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Data Management, Banking - Treasury/ Capital Market/ Investment/ Financial Risk Management\n2+ years of experience with Data mapping, data modelling, databases and root cause analysis\n2+ Years of experience in ETL, Python, Power BI and Tableau desired\nFinancial product knowledge/exposure in one or more below:\nDerivatives (any asset class- Equities, Credit, FX, Commodities)- Listed products and/or OTC\nSFTs- Securities financing transaction- Securities borrowing/lending, repos, reverse repos, tri-party repos/rev repos\nCollateral management\nIntraday\nGood understanding of Market related reference data\nExcellent SQL/Hive skills -
